Tilly was ready for her first full groom today 🐾⭐!

Tilly only needed one puppy groom prior to the full grooming service to assess her comfort level for the groom.
She has a very calm and confident temperament and is an absolute star for grooming.

Tilly's humans pre-booked grooming as soon as she came to live with them. They keep her in a beautiful, maintained condition with regular brushing and combing, so she was able to keep the coat length through winter for warmth.
Best of all .... that cute fluffy look!
She's a head turner for sure!

Little puppies Luna and Buffy were ready for their first full groom today 😍.

Luna had a lot of fear towards the grooming process to start off, she needed several puppy introduction sessions to build trust with handling and the grooming tools. We started slow and gently, putting in the extra time and patience needed for her to trust the process and the groomer. It's extremely important to go at the puppies pace when training them with grooming.

Starting slowly and working within her thresholds has prevented her being permanently fearful for grooming. This would be an extremely difficult thing to manage for Luna and her humans, as grooming will be required every 6-8weeks for the rest of her life.

We recommend grooming as soon as your pup is vaccinated. Don't wait until it's too late to book them in; risking matting or behavioral issues that will cause a bad experience for life.

We've had to implement a cancellation fee of the full amount of the service if less than 4 hours notice is provided.

Strictly 48hours is required for cancellations/booking movements to avoid a fee of half the booking cost.

The full fee is charged if less than 4hours is provided.

Surcharges apply for fleas and/or severe matting.
Cash payments are preferred and appreciated.
Bank transfers are required same day of service.
A surcharge of 2% is applied for card payments.

Important Notice Regarding Late Cancellations

As a small, mobile business, I invest time and resources into every booking. Late notice cancellations severely impact my ability to operate effectively. While I currently charge a cancellation fee of half the booking cost, this still leaves me at a loss and makes it challenging to cover the necessary running costs of this business.

If cancellations at short notice continue, I will be forced to implement a deposit or credit policy moving forward. This will mean more administrative work and therefore higher service costs.

Providing you all with a convenient mobile service is often an easy and stress free way for your dog's regular grooming needs, I have such pride offering this service.

Please consider there is extreme difficulty filling a short notice cancellation in your area, hence it often doesn't happen and we suffer a loss we simply cannot absorb.

After and Before of Puppy Poppy, this was a styled full groom.

Poppy is a cute little mix breed; her hair has some crazy cowlicks and wonderful waves!
Poppy's hair has its own idea of which way it wants to go, but that's all part of the charm! 😅.

The mobile area I cover is generally no more than a kilometre from both the beach and the estuary, so you will often see my grooms are shorter in length tailored to an active, salty lifestyle for maintenance.

My passion is longer, styled grooms so please feel welcome to enquire about grooming styles you prefer - I am happy to teach at home maintenance, grooming advice and dietary care. I will no doubt fall in love with your pooch so you know I have your dogs best interests at heart.
