Congratulations to our winner of our sponsored EVA 80 Wallaby Hill Young Event Horse Festival held over the weekend 🐎
With an incredible pool of talent amongst the class, Eve and her trusty steed, Moon Stalker breezed through the 3 phases with a whole lot of elegance and poise.

Eve says, “she brought Moon Stalker straight off the track and into her heart. He has excelled himself and given me the best experience and many wins. We have also been blessed to have wonderful support from his past trainer and breeder. Thank you to The Loch Equine for your support and making these events possible to showcase this wonderful breed”.

Looking forward to another amazing event in 2026 facilitated by the incredible Alex and team 🐎🐎🐎

Our director, Brigid Kennedy, had the priveledge of speaking with the Silverdale Academy students last week and this is what they had to say…

“On behalf of Silverdale Academy, I would like to extend our heartfelt thanks for taking the time to speak with our students during the Internship Program.

Your willingness to share your experiences, insights, and honest reflections on your career journey made a profound impact. Many of our students are at a stage where they are still discovering who they are and what is possible for their future. Hearing directly from professionals like yourself helps them see the breadth of opportunity within our industry and gives them the confidence to dream bigger and take the next step.

We are truly grateful for your generosity, mentorship, and support of the next generation. Your contribution plays an important role in shaping pathways for young people and opening doors to careers they may never have known existed.

Thank you once again for being part of this program and for inspiring our students.”

If you love horses but don’t know how to make a career of it, make sure to enquire into the prestigious Silverdale Academy Internship Program!!!

20th November - 24th November, as well as Saturday 6th December & Sunday 7th December 2025 is National Thoroughbred Week!
We would like to acknowledge our wonderful friend, Brigid Kennedy from The Loch Equine in the Southern Highlands, for supporting our business and entrusting us with some of her beautifully bred thoroughbred horses.
Brigid is, in our opinion, the best thoroughbred breeder! She truly loves her horses and always trains them for their career after racing first.

Here at Canyonleigh Trails, we have been lucky enough to have gained four of Brigid's babies over the past 3 years.

Tikki was our first and she has become one of our most reliable trail horses.

Jack was a baby 2yo when we got him and he was turned out to grow until now. He is coming into training as we speak as he is now 5.

Innis - now known as Ingrid aka Iggy Pop, is a gorgeous little girl who has become a favourite of one of our regular clients to ride. She has sass but is so gentle and kind.

Beth is our newest addition and she is just a darling to be around. She is about to start her trail riding career this coming weekend.

When you have a trusted colleague who loves horses as much as you do yourself. It is a joy to see your babies go on to their next life. Racing isn’t for all of them and they chose their own destiny.

20th November - 24th November, as well as Saturday 6th December & Sunday 7th December 2025 is National Thoroughbred Week!
