I just love this horse, even when he is in his spicy moods (I actually like him more then 😅). But he has just improved every time he stepped into the ring and can’t wait for next year with him.

So good looking back and reliaseing how far this horse has come this year, has not been easy and made me question what I was doing but it’s been all worth it.

“Blaze”
Blaze is a 16.2hh, 11yr, red bay, tb gelding, by Rothesay out of Pleasure Seeker.
Blaze finished racing in 2021, and did have a couple of homes before I got he about 14 months ago.
He just started his retraining this year has he did take a little bit to settle in and a couple of small health problems due to stress and anxiety, buthas all been sorted out and haven’t had a problem since.
Blaze has been out to local competitions and ag shows, was a little anxious when I first t**e him out, has gotten better and better every time he’s been out. He’s not bothered about anything when out (jump fill, show rides, random animals, etc). Has jumped upto 70/80cm and done prelim dressage.
Blaze does have a little pros and cons list:
Pros- good to rug, wash, saddle etc
- good to ride doesn’t worry about anything
- very even balanced paces
- wants to please attitude and willingness
- loves attention once caught
- good to ride, no rubbish/dirt in him
- great feet has been barefoot since ive had him and never had a issue

Cons- can be hard to catch
- does tie up but will pull back if no one is around
- is a little mate happy
- needs a confident rider as will push buttons to see what he can get away with.
- can be funny getting his feet done, needs a patient farrier.
I personally believe that blaze would suit a teenager or someone wanting to bring a horse along and have some fun with.
Blaze is up to date with teeth, worming, 2in1 vac and farrier.

Blaze (Nowiseverything) had his first outing on the weekend and to say I was pleasantly surprised by how good he was is an understatement. He stayed in the dressage arena, didn’t completely freak out when a lose horse came past, and jumped a full course with it being his only second time jumping. Also came home with a ribbon 😊

Lex
“George Town”
Lex is a 5yr. 16.3hh, bay, TB gelding.
Finished racing march 2024, then had a 3/4 let down before commencing his retraining. Had started the basics and picks everything up quickly, has been out to local ag shows/competition and clinics without a hassle at all.
Has jumped up to 70cm at comps and 80/90cm at clinics/home, showing a lot of promise to go up the heights easily. Very willing horse no matter what you ask of him.
Lex is quite but forward at times to ride, great on the ground to do anything with (float, shoe, catch, tie up, etc). Is eligible for the OTT lessons.
TWO Thousand SEVEN Hundred. Slightly negligible to right home.
Located, Majors Creek just outside of Townsville.

Currently out of work, hence his price if he doesn’t sell by February he will be put back into work and price will go up.

Did just nominate for a dressage comp on a horse that has never been to competition or out anywhere and another one that hasn’t been ridden all year due to a injury 🥴 ( could be interesting)

It’s time for Baz to find a new home. Unfortunately I haven’t put the time into him as I would have liked and the price reflects that.
Baz is a 15.3hh, 6yr, TB gelding.
Baz finished racing November 2023 and had a good 6/7 months letting down and being a horse.
Has started basic training and has picked things up quickly, moves off leg pressure, has a soft mouth. Has been out on trails/road rides and hasn’t worried about anything.
Baz is a very compact little horse. I think he would suit a number of different disciplines from barrels/sporting to hacking/dressage. As he is agile and pretty quick on his feet but also has the movement and looks that don’t go astray in the hack and dressage arenas.
Baz is 100% sound and has pretty good feet (for a thoroughbred) has been barefoot since finishing racing and haven’t had any issues. Hasn’t got any nastiness in him, is a very people friendly boy would be in your back pocket if aloud. Good to float by himself or with others, same in the paddock.
Does need a confident rider as he is still green even though he is quiet.
