Here's a video of Braveheart - he's starring a lot on the YouTube channel recently!
This was yesterday catching him and putting some gel in the corner of his eye.

Although he's so much more confident than when he first arrived, you can see he still needs to go slow slowly slowly gently gently.

This isn't my best work - I'm always finding the best I can do with what needs to be done! Sometimes I do rush things a little bit in a husbandry situation.

To me, it’s always breathtakingly beautiful to see a horse moving (or standing still). Yes I love every horse I have ever met. What’s even more beautiful about this horse, Xena, is that she is loving life - when she was seen as no value and about to be put to sleep - she could not race or even breed due to her legs.
Thanks to the dedicated staff expert care of Jason Proctor, she is now so much more comfortable. She’s only young and we hold so much hope and love (as well as continued expert care) for her to continue to strengthen and keep loving life.
This was last night at feed time (glowing eyes from my camera).

The horses love playing and often line up to come into the little play yard. There were different things to play with including cones, little jumps. In this video, I asked Prince Caspian what he wanted to do and he just wanted to chill. It's fascinating and beautiful what horses will show you in response to being given choices.

Xena loves feed time and is do beautifully expressive! She's so adorable. Because of her being born with both legs she's adapted to move around and is loving life.
this young horse bred to race was saved thank you to your kindness and is being rehabilitated with the dedication of Jason Proctor.
This was actually a pretty low-key expression for feed time. Sometimes she races all over the paddock kick kicking about 10 times.
