And she’s off! 💜

Sade, now known as Remmi Hikurangi Katene, is on her way to Melbourne with her beautiful new whānau.

What a testament to us as breeders to have repeat families who trust in our breeding programme. Jono and Kelz purchased Rowley from us last year and have now welcomed another Hikurangi baby into their family. That trust means the world to us.

Over the weekend they travelled to celebrate Rowley’s 1st birthday alongside his siblings from our Matariki Litter our 9 stars shining brightly. Seeing our puppy families continue to support each other and remain connected is exactly what our Hikurangi Bulldogs community is all about.

It’s always emotional saying goodbye to one of our babies. While Melbourne may be a long way away, we know Remmi is going to an incredible home. We are lucky enough to receive regular photos and even FaceTime calls with Rowley on special occasions. Those moments are truly priceless and words simply can’t do them justice.

Jono and Kelz are no longer puppy buyers – they are whānau. They are part of our bulldog family, our community, and our village here at Hikurangi Bulldogs.

Thank you both for once again placing your trust in us and for giving our precious girl such a wonderful home.

Safe travels, Remmi. We can’t wait to watch your adventures unfold.

Today we celebrated our Matariki Litter’s 1st Birthday, and what a special morning it was! 🌟

All 9 of our stunning stars made an appearance, and their presence was truly felt. To say we are proud would be a huge understatement. Seeing these beautiful dogs thriving with their incredible families is exactly why we do what we do.

One of the biggest highlights was having one of our stars travel all the way from Melbourne with his whānau just to celebrate with us. How amazing is that? ❤️

We cannot thank each and every one of you enough for making such a huge effort to share this special day with us. Your support, trust, and commitment to our bulldog family means more than words can express.

Our love for the breed is what keeps us going, but it’s also the wonderful people who trust in our breeding program and believe in what we do. Over the years, we’ve realised that we don’t just breed puppies we bring people together. What starts as a puppy purchase grows into friendships, support networks, and a genuine community.

As they say, it takes a village, and we are so fortunate to have an incredible village standing beside us. Thank you for being part of our journey, for loving our stars as much as we do, and for making Hikurangi Bulldogs such a special community.

Today we celebrate our 9 stars shining bright. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

It feels like only yesterday you were tiny puppies, and now you have all grown into amazing dogs living your best lives with your wonderful families. We are incredibly grateful for every update, photo, and story that we receive. Being able to watch your journeys unfold from afar is one of the greatest rewards of being a breeder.

To our Matariki babies, thank you for bringing so much love, laughter, and joy to your families. We are so proud of each and every one of you and will always think of you as our 9 stars shining bright. ⭐

We can’t wait to celebrate this special milestone with all 9 of you, your fam bams, and our beautiful bulldog community on Saturday. It’s going to be a day filled with love, friendship, and plenty of bulldog fun!

🎉 Luther Has Found His Forever Home 🏡❤️

Our beautiful boy Luther has officially been sold and is about to start living his very best life alongside our Matariki Queen, Stevie. 🐾✨

We are incredibly honoured and humbled that the Russell family have chosen to come back to Hikurangi Bulldogs to welcome another baby into their family. There is no greater compliment for a breeder than having families return and trust us once again with one of our precious babies.

The Russell family have decided to keep his name Luther, and we couldn’t think of a more fitting choice. Luther the voice that sends shivers down your spine. ❤️

While Luther may be leaving our home, he will always be a part of our Hikurangi Bulldogs family and community. This is what it’s all about for us building lifelong connections, supporting one another, and watching our babies thrive in loving homes.

To every family who has welcomed one of our precious babies into their hearts and homes, thank you. Your love, support, and continued connection mean the world to us and make everything we do so worthwhile.

Here at Hikurangi Bulldogs, we are thrilled to be hosting our Matariki Litter 1st Birthday Party at Oxenford Lake (Damien Leeding Park) Gold Coast on 20th June 2026, starting at 7:30am.

Whether you’re one of our puppy families, a bulldog lover, or simply curious about the breed, everyone is welcome to come along. Even if you don’t own a bulldog, we’d love to see you there!

This is a wonderful opportunity to meet our gorgeous birthday babies, catch up with their families, and experience firsthand why we all adore this incredible breed. From their hilarious antics to their loving and unique personalities, bulldogs truly have a special way of stealing hearts. ❤️🐾

We cannot wait to see our babies in the flesh again and celebrate this special milestone together. It’s going to be a morning filled with fun, laughter, cuddles, and plenty of bulldog mischief!

How amazing is it to receive these photos from Smokey’s new family? 🥰
He’s only been gone a week, but it looks like he has settled into his new life with absolute ease. Seeing him so happy, loved, and thriving with his beautiful family fills my heart with so much joy.
Moments like these remind us exactly why we do what we do. Watching our babies leave is never easy, but knowing they are cherished and living their best lives makes it all worthwhile. ❤️
A huge thank you to Samantha Barrett and her family for giving Smokey the loving home we could have only dreamed of for him. We are so grateful that he has found such a wonderful family to call his own.
Keep the updates coming we absolutely love seeing our babies grow and flourish in their forever homes! 🐾💕

🤫 We’ve been keeping a little secret…

One of our beautiful girls has found her forever home! 🏡💜

With her sultry looks, sweet personality, and undeniable charm, she has completely stolen the hearts of a very special family. That’s right… our stunning smooth operator, Sade, will be leaving us next week to begin her next adventure with her new family.

For now, we’re keeping the lucky family under wraps. 😉 This announcement deserves more than just words—it deserves a picture. And trust us, when you see it, it will tell a thousand words.
