After taking a photo of Ace I can’t believe how much he looks like his dad. The apple 🍏 definitely didn’t fall far from that tree 🌳 hopefully he wants to be a pretty show pony and follow in his daddy’s hoofprints 🥰

What an amazing result for Oakton lodge sudden emotion (Emmy) and Chloe Ireland winning the weanling futurity. Who said stockhorse can’t match it with the riding ponies
1st show and what a amazing little girl she was, such a big future and a great start to her career. Biggest congrats, we are so proud 🥰 looks like the rug was made for her.

Ash nationals
Tamworth did not disappoint with the weather 🥵 the aircon got a good workout, hasn’t been off for 8 days 🤷‍♀️ more than happy to leave that behind. The girls were both super, Stevie was called in, in her class but no ribbons.
Bons show started with a bit of dressage (been a while between drinks for me 🤣) couple of super tests with 65 & 67 %. Love reading tests that start off with an 8’s - we finished midfield out of 38 riders so super happy.
English attire day, wow you know she looks different when you don’t recognise your own pony 🤣 called in 6th and worked upto 2nd (maybe we are growing a mane 🫣) ridden beautifully by Damian Judd.
Led and hack day saw her 1st in the small mare class and called in, in her hack. No ribbon but a super pattern, was nice having a video for a change to look at, thanks to my stable buddies.
Working day, I almost talked myself out of riding when I read the pattern 🤣 cantering circles and cracking whips at the same time isnt my thing 🫣 but we gave it a red hot crack and I’m proud of me and my pony - we survived and I never hit her so all went well 🤣
To my people thank you for a great week. Was the best catching up with all the OL ponies and meeting some owners in person for the first time, all the kids look fantastic.
To my travel buddy Kath, you can tick this off your buckets list now that we made it - fingers crossed in an uneventful trip home 🏡

We finally after all the years of trying made the trip to Canberra.
Ansa day - only entered leds

This is where our competition stopped, bon must have stepped on something on the way to the ring and was lame so no ridden classes for her. Gave me some time to catch up with people I haven’t seen in a while. Thanks to everyone for their hospitality, what a great show.
Now for the long drive home.

Perfect day spent at our local lang lang show. Except for the crazy wind 💨 had to wear riding hat in leds so that I didn’t lose it 🤣
Lucky it’s only 3 mins away as truck decided it didn’t want to go to a show so we had to do a quick swap to the float, battery that operates tail gate died 🙈
I did a thing today and managed to led the kids and the girls looked after their mum 🥰 (might not be able to walk tomorrow 😬)
