🐾 BOOF IS STILL WAITING FOR HIS PERSON 🐾

Whenever we post about Boof, the enquiries come flooding in — and honestly, we can’t blame you. Have you seen him?! 😍

He’s quite possibly the most handsome boy in the whole world… although we may be a little biased! 😉❤️

But behind that gorgeous face is an incredibly intelligent, soft and gentle boy who absolutely adores his humans.

In fact, Boof’s favourite place to be? Right beside you on the couch. 🛋️❤️
This big boy is much more of a professional couch potato than an athlete!

Boof does have a high prey drive, which means he needs a special kind of home with a few important requirements:

🏡 He must be the only animal in the home
🔒 He needs secure fencing
🐕 He wears a muzzle when out in public

We know that might sound like a lot… but here’s what Boof will give you in return:

❤️ A gentle, loving companion
🫂 Endless cuddles
🛋️ A professional couch companion
🐾 And all the love he has to give

💙 REMEMBER GILBERT? 💙

We’re sure you remember this beautiful boy — Gilbert — who came into our care after someone had wired his muzzle shut. 💔

After everything he has been through, yesterday was a HUGE day for Gilbert… he went into foster care! 🏡🐾

And this morning we got the update we had been desperately hoping for…

✨ Gilbert has settled in SO well! ✨

He’s already showing us that despite the cruelty he experienced, his heart is still full of love. 🥹❤️

It will never cease to amaze us how dogs can go through the absolute worst that humans have to offer… and still choose to love us with their whole hearts

🌭🌭Bunnings Sausage Sizzle Recap 🌭🌭

We have had another busy and successful sausage sizzle at Bunnings

We want to say a huge thank you to Krystle and her family who all come down to run the show and the BBQ allllll day! We also want to thank our volunteers who came down to help serve customers and generally keep the energy up!

To everyone who bought a sausage, donated or even just dropped in to have a chat we also want to thank you. Support from our community helps us do what we do best - rescue dogs!

And to Bunnings Plainlands thank you for allowing us to continue coming down!

🚨🚨 WE NEED YOUR HELP — RIGHT NOW. 🚨🚨

💔 $3,000+ IN VET BILLS… AND IT’S ONLY THIS MORNING.

Two of the five tiny puppies we fought to save from being PTS have been rushed to the emergency vet. 🐶🏥

And we are absolutely heartbroken.

Both babies have stomach obstructions and are undergoing further investigation. We don’t yet know what the next few hours will bring — but we know they need us. And they need YOU. ❤️‍🩹

These puppies were given a second chance.

We promised them that being rescued meant they would get the care they needed.

🐾 JUST ONE SWEET SOUL LEFT! 🐾

Cola is the last of two little sisters still waiting for her foster home — and she’s hoping you might be the one to open your home to her. 🥹❤️

This gorgeous 4–5 month old Bull Arab cross was found wandering around Rockhampton with her sister, who has now secured a foster home. Last night, Cola came into our care… and we can officially confirm she is every bit as sweet as she looks! 🥰

But we don’t want her spending her puppyhood behind kennel doors.

🐶 Puppies need more than shelter — they need a safe place to sleep, people to love, new experiences and the chance to learn what it means to be part of a family. Their mental wellbeing matters just as much to us as their physical wellbeing.

So now, we’re looking for one very special foster family to give Cola the start she deserves. ❤️
