🚨 URGENT FOSTER HOME NEEDED FOR BAILEY 🚨

Beautiful Bailey urgently needs a loving foster home where he can decompress and settle in at his own pace. 🐾

Bailey is a six-month-old Rhodesian Ridgeback. He is a very smart boy who already knows all his basic commands—he just needs someone willing to give him the patience, security and love he deserves.

Sometimes life throws the unimaginable at our pets and their families, and we are absolutely here to support those doing everything they can. ❤️🐾

Eduardo emailed us privately and asked whether we could share the story of his beloved dog, Spartan—so of course we had to.

Spartan is a Kelpie x German Shepherd and a huge part of Eduardo’s family. After suffering a serious accident, he required urgent surgery with a veterinary orthopaedic surgeon. His surgery and recovery will be incredibly expensive, so Eduardo has started a GoFundMe to help give Spartan the treatment he needs.

Although Spartan isn’t a Promising Paws dog, we will always support people trying to do the very best for their animals. After everything our beautiful Karma went through, we understand just how frightening and overwhelming unexpected orthopaedic surgery and veterinary costs can be.

We would love our community to get behind Spartan and his family. If you can donate—even a small amount—it will help. If you’re unable to donate, please share their fundraiser so it can reach someone who may be able to help.

💚Promising Paws Dog Rescue is completely run by dedicated volunteers who give their time, energy, and hearts to helping dogs in need. 🐶 We always do our best to respond as quickly as possible, although at times replies may take a little longer than we would like, and occasionally things may be missed or forgotten. 🤦🏻‍♀️ We are only human, but our commitment to the dogs never changes. Their safety, wellbeing, and future are always our number one priority, and we thank you for your patience, understanding, and support as we work hard to give every dog the care and second chance they deserve. 💕🐾

SavourLife and Pets Domain have teamed up for a Road to Rescue Challenge, and we’ve
been chosen as one of the rescues groups to hopefully receive up to $2,500!
They are aiming to donate up to $25,000 in transport costs for the month of September!

🚨 URGENT FOSTER CARERS NEEDED 🚨

We may have bitten off more than we can chew…but isn’t that what rescue is all about? 😅

We are now beyond capacity at our shelter. An emergency case arrived this morning, two dogs were dropped off who were left behind at a property. This means the dogs we had already planned to bring into the facility now urgently need foster homes.
