Dog Groomer or Teddy Bear Stylist 🧸 People often ask how I got into this industry. Long story short -

I remember stumbling across a dog grooming salon in Hong Kong back in 2017. There was a dog groomer I could see through a window, grooming the most beautiful Japanese Spitz. It was just such a niche career that I had never thought about before. It was a perfect mix between working with animals and being creative. At the time I was on a big overseas trip and I told myself that if I still wanted to pursue dog grooming after my time away, that I should enrol in a course. After about 8 months of travelling, I committed to enrolling in a one year Pet Grooming course at TAFE. I came back to Aus feeling a little less lost in my mid twenties 🥲

…Now we’re here!

There’s not many of us across the globe and I’m glad to be one of the few that are able to sculpt fur for a living 💛

A few updates for the end of the year:

✨See second pic for a sneak peek of the Christmas bows! Bows will be given out from 1st Nov - 23rd Dec 🎄 one per dog after their full groom.

✨Fluffin will be taking a break from 24th December - returning 15th January. Extra days and hours will be added to hopefully accommodate!

✨If your pup will be due around these dates it might be a good idea to plan ahead!
For example:
* Organising a shorter groom to last a few weeks longer.
*Booking in with another groomer (even for a bath or tidy up to maintain a knot free coat).

✨Currently not taking new clients sorry! Feel free to message (text) for any last minute appointments.

6 Days done and dusted at PIGA international 🎉

Now time to apply these skills back at the Fluffin studio ✂️

We were given 2 full days to complete 2 grooms on our real life dogs. So let’s see what can be accomplished in a standard 1.5/2 hour time slot! 💛

Special thanks to .khoo and her team for the opportunity and the memories. Looking forward to continuing learning through the online courses. I am now one step closer to grooming like they do in Asia 😊💛
