It's been a while since we posted! Sorry. Busy busy lives.
The boy has had his 8th Birthday in September.
He celebrated it looking after his babies!
Now this is a funny thing for those who know the back story.
As soon as I took these orphaned new born lambs in he has fussed over them like an Aunt! Cleans them, rushes out to meet them when he gets out of bed in the morning. Tells them to drink their entire bottle, plays zoomies with them! It's gorgeous! It's been great for us, great for him although now the babies have moved on to their next stage he is sad, sleeping on their bed and moping ( see last pic). For the Hazel and Rosie is was a bonus they had such a loving big brother because when they arrived at the place they can run around in paddocks ( with their tails and their lives promised thanks to Care Australia ) there were 10 dogs to greet them!
Ironically these lambs came from a Farmer who had thought the worst of my pup.
So there are a couple of messages here.
Firstly and most importantly. . Here we are two people who had disagreed, working together for a greater good and saving some little lives ( I think there have been around 12 come through us and found foster carers)
Many cannot move on from a disagreement no matter the benefits. No good can come from that!! I am very grateful that this farmer feels the same way I do. What's done is done now let's get on with it and do some good in this world!!!
The second is obviously don't judge a dog by his situation, but it's much less important!
The past is the past. No one should be judged by it ans grudges don't help anyone!
