Post wet walk wipe downs 😂 ☔️ 🐶

I’m sure I managed to hit every rain downpour today starting with my 7.30am walk and continuing right through into the afternoon (with the exception of the expert rain dodging whippets 😂)

These two love the post walk wipe downs on anything they can rub up against, on or with !!!

Needless to say I spent the whole day covered in muddy paws and wet clothes! Love my job 💕

// This week has been SOOOO BUSY!

What with walks, check in’s and playtime with my HHH’s pooches, Local Area Coordinator duties including walks and new client / volunteer introductions with my POOPS pooches, walks, kennel cleans and Vets visits with my APS pooches….and having the absolute joy that is APS foster boy Tony T-Bone ‘in da house’ - I’m now whacked 😴.💤😩 (but also super happy 😊)

Good job there’s a UK 🇬🇧 trip coming up next week- although I’m thinking the only downtime there will be on this ‘whirlwind holiday’ will be on the flight over ✈️😂

Shout out to all of my furry mates I’ve had the pleasure of spending time with this week - love you all 🐾💕
…..and an even bigger shout out to the organisations I’m so proud to be a Volunteer with -POOPS and Animal Protection Society of WA Inc. for all you do for animals in need. True angels sent from heaven to make the lives of all animals that little bit better 🙏

Oh Moe… darling boy has sadly come down with the Trinne boys bug… number 3 of the pack to get sick in the last few weeks. 🐶🐶🐶

So glad you have the BEST hoo’mum to tend to your every need and whim during recovery.

An overnighter at our place with the Pointer sisters whilst their hoomans are in Broome…. Bacon and egg Sunday breakie before a sad goodbye ….Always a pleasure, especially the 5am wake up yawn hey Isabel 😂🐶🐾❤️

// HHH’s peeps….:: Heads up!!!

Introducing …..Tony, aka T-bone Tony, Tony Malone or when I forget… Frank 😂

Tony is our 6th short term APS foster that has enjoyed some respite at our home these last few days. He’s accompanied us to parks, cafes and visiting friends and has won the hearts of everyone he has met. 🩵
We honestly have NOTHING negative to say about this darling boy. 🐶

Tony is a 6 year old Mastiff Cross seeking his forever home. Having come from a loving home, he’s finding kennel life challenging as he’s happiest in the company of hoomans within a home environment.

He’s a big boy with an even bigger heart. With a whole lotta love to give, this boy loves nothing more than going for a daily sniffy walk, dozing on his bed (or yours if he’s invited up 😂) sampling yummy treats and giving cuddles. He’s gotta be the most chilled out guy we have cared for so far, super polite when out and about, has very good manners and is eager to please in any way he can. Despite his size, he walks really well on a lead, is housetrained and can be left in his own company without any issues.

He’s going to make someone very very happy when he chooses them as his pawrents.

Please consider sharing this post, telling everyone you know about how amazing he is or going to APS to visit Tony yourself if you (or someone you know) is looking to adopt (or even help out with fostering) this beautiful soul 🩵

On 23rd June 2022 I took this picture of the clouds near my house - totally real, no filters / photoshopping or AI!

At the time, I remember being totally blown away by the image I had just captured. The undeniable shape of a dog with an out-stretched arm reaching towards the dog ❤️ only lasted a few minutes before the clouds dispersed and the image was no more.

A year later Millie-Moo 🐶 passed away on 25th June 2023 with a huge rainbow 🌈 appearing over our house the morning of her passing.

The cloud picture popped back up in my FB memories again 2 days before her passing, and then again on 23rd June this year which happened to be exactly 3 weeks after Taco’s passing 🤔

I don’t know what it all means, but I do know that for me, it’s a special photo with an unexplainable link to the month of June.

It feels right to share the pic today on what is the 2 month anniversary of Taco’s passing on 2nd June 2026 🩵🐾
