Feel Good Friday Feature: Poppy the Goldie 🌾💛

Catching Poppy on camera is a rare treat because she’s almost always on the move! But a little sore paw meant she took things a bit easier on our walks this week, which made for some gorgeous, quiet moments with her. ☀️

Instead of chasing top speed, she spent her week rolling in the soft grass, lounging in the sand, and being a wonderfully calm friend to the younger pups in the pack. She’s got that effortless, gentle presence that puts every other dog right at ease. 🐾

We’re taking it nice and gentle so our cheeky 7-year-old is back to full strength next week.

Feel-Good Friday Feature: The “Old Dog” Who Proves Age Is Just a Number

They say you can’t teach an old dog new tricks, but Gavin proves that wrong every single walk.

As the oldest member of the Salty Pups pack, he first joined us on a content day alongside originals Ollie and Lola and it didn’t take long for him to completely steal my heart. If you’ve been following our adventures, you already know I have a huge soft spot for this handsome guy. Here is why Gavin holds such a special place in the pack:

100% Listener: No matter where we are, he always tunes in to me.
Coastal Freedom: Watching him roam freely and happily chase birds is absolute magic.
Grass Roll Obsession: Nothing beats the pure joy of Gavin dropping everything for a thorough, blissed-out grass roll.
Selfie King: He actually smiles for the camera and never misses a chance to pose with me.

Gavin shows me something new every time we hit the trails, reminding us all that the best adventures only get better with age.

Sent a quick update of Socket and Elvis burning energy from yesterday’s group adventure, and got back the most heart-melting reply. Socket’s mum mentioned he’s never had a Boxer buddy until now, and asked if Elvis’ parents would want to go for a walk together soon! 🐾☕
