For my American friends who are always baffled when I say we’ve got kangaroos 😅 this mob live between the biodiversity land across from us and the bottom of our paddock. Most of the time they hang around and aren’t too worried by us, every so often they’ll jump out of the bush and scare the bajeesus out of me and Chev 😂

You know those quizzes that pop up on social media to find out if you’ve got ADHD or the like? I think having someone live out a day on a farm could probably also be used as a diagnostic tool 😂 I truly got so much done, and none of it was what I’d planned to do.

This little girl makes me so proud to be her mama. I was sick yesterday and then this morning when I woke up she’d gotten herself completely ready for school, packed her lunch and her school bag. Then she came out with me to do the horses, filled her own hay net, hung it and unrugged her pony. She never complains about any of it and always managed to find joy in every little moment.

If anyone has any hacks for me to make these office work/horse work days a bit easier pls let me know 😅 I might start with not wearing my work clothes in to the paddock 🙊
