Had an unexpected job come up last Sat with a mate who had an acrylic overflow box that had developed a serious leak after he swapped to this bigger tank (see last photo, with some attempts previously to patch).

We were tasked to make a new external overflow and match the exisiting layout and of course make it leak free 🤣. After a late night fitting tank is now good to go.

Overflow turned out 😎 and tank is now running again smoothly after a very stressful move over the last week.

Some custom changes were requested to the hole size to suit their specific feeding requirements for their fish, turned out super nice and compliment all our other goodies they have!

Cleaning our products???

We sometimes get asked the best way to clean our products. Well the answer is easy, same as how you might clean other equipment, citric acid or vinegar (best not to use vinegar on anything with seals as rule of thumb). This is a quick before and after of a very dirty frag rack covered in coraline and algae, bit of a soak with vinegar and gentle scrub and as good as new!

Ecotech MPs, you either love them or hate them. We have some great options to take your MPs to the next level.

Whether it’s the addition of our Nem covers with external and internal protection from those pesky nems or snails, whilst also giving you several different flow pattern options which you can change quickly without having to buy another whole cover!
Or take it even further and add our flow directors which add the ability to direct flow 30deg in any direction. These can be added to the standard MP cover or fit our nem covers.

Brighten your tank with a choice of some cool colours, or be boring and go black (we won’t judge you too much!)

We have you covered in both nem covers and also flow directors! DMP10, DMP20, DMP30 and DMP40 al covered!

All our wavemaker covers come with and outer cover as well as inner nem cover to keep those pesky nems and snails out, as well as 3 different outflow nozzles to optimise your flow pattern. This makes them easy to clean and less likely to suffer loss of performance.

Want to optimise your flow even more? Then have a look at our flow directors, these allow you to direct flow up to 30deg (although tested up to 90 if you dare).
