MSM
Deficiencies in biological sulfur can result in the less than optimal functioning of each cell, tissue and organ in the body. Inorganic sulfur is poorly assimilated. MSM is a natural analgesic and blocks the transfer of pain impulses through the nerve fibers. MSM also blocks the inflammation process by enhancing the activity of cortisol, a natural anti-inflammatory hormone produced by the body. MSM has no vitamin or mineral content it’s a sulphur .
CHONDROITIN
Results show Chondroitin works as an anti-inflammatory and reduces pain. Some laboratory studies suggest that chondroitin may slow cartilage breakdown associated with osteoarthritis and even stimulate cartilage growth.
GLUCOSAMINE HCL
Glucosamine HCL is used for osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, joint pain. Made from shells of shell fish. I am often asked the difference between Glucosamine HCL and Glucosamine Sulfate. The differences are hydrochloride form is more concentrated than the sulfate form, the hydrochloride form contains substantially less sodium per effective dose than the sulfateform. Glucosamine sulfate is stabilized with sodium chloride (table salt) and can contain as much as 30% sodium.

Has an important role in maintaining the health of collagen, it appears to be especially helpful for slowing – and some say, reversing – degenerative joint disease.
HYAL
Hyaluronic Acid is a necessary component of connective tissue and belongs to a protein family called glycosaminoglycans. Hyaluronic Acid possesses antioxidant properties as well.One of the most researched benefits of hyaluronic acid is its ability to alleviate aching joints. Its effectiveness in this area isn’t surprising ,since hyaluronic acid is especially concentrated in moving joints. It is a major component of both cartilage and the synovial fluid that bathes joints, binding to water to create a thick, gelatinous substance that lubricates and protects the cartilage.
Together, synovial fluid and cartilage act as shock absorbers that can withstand a tremendous amount of wear and tear. However, in joints afflicted by arthritis, hyaluronic acid levels are extremely low, causing the synovial fluid to become less viscous and the cartilage less cushiony.
Vets have injected hyaluronic acid directly into the synovial spaces of arthritic joints for relief of pain and inflammation.

Dosage :
One thirty gram scoop is suggested for maintenance, if your horse is sore one thirty gram scoop morning and night for two weeks then back to the maintenance dose, some horses if sore may need to stay on the two scoops daily.
