My mum was one of the staff on the ground getting these poor pooches out of that facility, grooming them and getting them into foster care. Now that they are all out we are trying to get the government to listen to us about the fact that our outdated animal welfare laws to be changed so this never happens again. It would be amazing if you could sign this petition and share it far and wide so we can make a much needed change ❤️

Please sign this e-petition to help ban puppy farms in Tasmania.

Your huge outpouring of support changed the lives of the 239 labradoodles we’ve saved from Tasmania’s largest puppy farm.

Now, we’re asking for your help to change the laws to ensure this can never happen again.

The e-petition is here, and is open until September 9: https://haepetitions.parliament.tas.gov.au/haepet/Home/PetitionDetails/119?title=Petition%20Details

Lilah and I are very excited to say that we have finally mastered the art of “snuffle balls” and we will have them available for purchase. They are $15 each and have over hald a meter of material in each one. Snuffle balls are an interactive feeder toys that are used to challenge your dog to sniff and forage and snuffle to find hidden treats. They are a great way to slow down a speedy eater, or add some challenging play at meal times. To use our Snuffle Balls, simply bury dry treats or biscuits throughout the ball. Initially, make it easier for your dog by placing them right on top. As your dog develops their snuffle skills, you can bury treats further into the flaps of fabric for a more challenging activity.
Snuffle Balls have a range of benefits including:
* Encourages dogs natural instinct for sniffing and foraging
* Provides mental stimulation – problem solving requires lots of focus and energy
* Slows down speedy eaters, preventing tummy upsets
* You can use to add some playful chase and fetch games
* Provides a calming activity for stressed or anxious
* A useful as a distraction activity for dogs who suffer separation anxiety
* Low impact activity for dogs with limited mobility or when recovering from an injury.

With the days getting darker a little earlier and it being colder, now is a great time to get your pooch a snuffle mat. Lilahs snuffle mat is a godsend in the colder months, instead of taking her out in the cold, I use her food drive and busy nose to my advantage and her her snuffle mat out. For Lilah, she will use her snuffle mat for around half an hour to make sure she has found every crumb of food and then pass out on the couch for a snooze.
A snuffle mat is also a great way to slow down fast eaters and to help animals with seperation anxiety.
We have lots of snuffle mats ready to go at the moment and delivery can be arranged to most suburbs around Hobart for free.

Hey everyone,
RSPCA Tasmania currently has a very sweet greyhound boy called Frankie who is currently in our safe beds program but the owner has had to make the hard decision to surrender him. We are currently trying to find the perfect furever home, do you know anyone who would be interested in adopting a very sweet and very playful 3 year old greyhound?
He is currently in foster care which he is absolutely loving but we want to find him the best home possible.

Meet the gorgeous 6 year young Greyhound called Boss 🐶🐾😍. Boss was lucky enough to have his hooman buy him his very own snuffle mat and I thinks it’s safe to say that it is a big hit! Boss is very food motivated and it didn’t take him long to figure out to use his nose to find all of the treats and now that he has started snuffling, he hasn’t stopped.
Enjoying your snuffle mat Boss 😍🐾🐶
