Hi, I’m Sandy — but my friends call me Houdini!
Why? Because I’m a master escape artist — secure fencing is a must if you want to keep up with my adventures! 🕵️‍♀️🚪

I’m a 6-year-old Kelpie x Maremma mix with a heart as big as my fluffy paws 🐾. I’m house-trained (like a lady), I love walkies 🚶‍♀️, car rides 🚗, and I’ll do just about anything for a tasty treat 🍖!

I adore kiddos 👧👦 and will happily be your shadow around the house — seriously, personal space is so last year 🫶.

I can be a little shy around new guys 👨, and loud noises make me jump 😱 (hey, we all have our quirks!), but give me time and I’ll be your best buddy ❤️.

Think you can handle a sweet, loyal gal with a bit of a rebellious streak?
Let’s meet — I promise to steal your heart (and maybe your snacks) 😜.

Love, Sandy the Great Escape Artist

PS: Bring treats. Seriously. 🍗

All our lovely doggies come with a one-on-one obedience lesson with our in house trainer.

Our Story

Adopt a Dog Fraser Coast Inc (formerly Fraser Coast Animal Rescue Inc) supports a committed group of volunteer foster carers who care for and assist to re-home unwanted, surrendered and mistreated animals, whilst promoting responsible animal ownership. Using public promotion at local events and representation in local print and social media, we strongly advocate the de-sexing, microchipping, vaccination and registration of all domestic pets. Fostered dogs in our care receive “temperament testing”, coupled with basic training and general obedience. We feel it is imperative that any antisocial behaviours are adequately noted and dealt with prior to re-homing.
