Last week we said goodbye to the beautiful Brightnight. Dazzle as he was known at home and to the many people that have ridden or worked with him over the last 12 years.
William Bates named him Dazzle when they were both 6 years old when Dazzle came to us as an OTT. Dazzle was the new lead pony for the breaking in business. But he was so much more than that.
Dazzle was an extremely good jumper and when he wasn’t busy being a lead pony I took Dazzle eventing. Dazzle and I competed to 2* with many wins and placings throughout his career. Dazzle was the Rolls Royce of cross country horses, he was fast, brave and super adjustable. He’s still one of the best horses I’ve ridden cross country in my career.
Dazzle continued his role as the lead pony once I stopped eventing him. He also helped many other riders at the lower levels when they didn’t have a horse to compete. Dazzle was the first horse that William rode and William learnt to help Dad with the breakers.
Most recently Dazzle featured in a film shoot alongside Adelaide Hill and Bloomfield Findon and I will cherish our last ride together and the beautiful footage I have of him.
Goodbye Dazzle and thank you for being
a part of our family for the last 12 years.
Thank you to Tim Walsh for finding Dazzle for us all those years ago and for being there at the very end.
Rest easy Dazzle ❤️

We require a full-time Stock feed Mill Hand who is self-motivated for our Equine Feed
manufacturing plant at Ebenezer.
Overtime available
Your duties will include machine operation, packing, stacking and maintenance.
Ideally you will have experience working in a manufacturing environment however
consideration will be given to those who have a proven work record and are looking for secure
employment.
You will need your own reliable transport and mobile phone.
Key Responsibilities:
▪️Keep maintenance of all equipment up to date and ensure machinery is working at peak
capacity
▪️Follow all health and safety procedures to retain a safe working environment for all staff
▪️Organisation of the daily inflow and outflow of material and final product
Skills and Qualities:
▪️Experience in the feed milling industry and exposure to feed milling equipment would be an
advantage but not essential
▪️Forklift License essential
▪️Strong attention to detail
▪️Excellent verbal and written communication skills
▪️Computer skills an advantage but not essential, training provided
▪️Desire to work as part of a team
▪️Capable of multi-tasking and working efficiently to ensure daily targets are met
▪️On the job training will be given to the successful applicant
