Sweet Maggie girl 🖤

Sensitive, cuddly, food obsessed.

Before Maggie’s overnight stay, I asked her owner what they would like to work on most and one of the biggest goals was impulse control and learning to wait patiently until given a command.

For sensitive working breeds like Maggie, staying in their own home environment can make such a big difference. Being able to keep their normal routine, familiar surroundings and comfort space helps create a calmer learning experience while building confidence at their own pace.

During her stay we worked on:

🐾 enrichment
🐾 structured training
🐾 Learning toys are fun not just food

High energy dogs don’t always need “more excitement”, sometimes they just need the right guidance, patience and someone who understands them.

Brandy 🖤🎾
A beautiful NZ Huntaway girl with the perfect mix of intensity, brains and sweetness.

From full speed ball obsession and tug sessions to calm posed moments, she gives 100% to absolutely everything she does 😅

Being half deaf has meant learning to communicate differently together through hand movements, body language and trust. When I first met her, she was very shut down and unsure, but watching her slowly open up, learn to communicate and gain confidence has been incredibly rewarding.

Now she gives the BEST cuddles and has so much personality shining through ✨
Working breeds truly are something special. Intelligent, driven, sensitive and always ready for the next adventure.

Roxie — Great Dane energy wrapped in softness. Always close, always calm, always waiting for homemade treats like it’s a full-time job.

Mutley — Beagle chaos in the best way. Cuddles on demand, nose always switched on, and fully committed to snack negotiations.

These two have been with me since the beginning of my business, and that trust isn’t taken lightly. It’s earned through routine, leadership.

Boss the Kelpie is all about the chase 🎾 if there’s a ball, he’s locked in. Add a quick dip in the water and he’s living his best life.

Boots (Kelpie x Cattle Dog) keeps things interesting… birds to chase 🐦 and any water source to dive straight into and chasing Boots 🌊
