One step forward, two steps backwards. 😭

Mum has never been a fan of crates. She always wanted us to have free roam and trusted us to make good choices.
Unfortunately... we’re not very good at making good choices.

After one too many naughty moments, destroyed things, and a whole lot of “what have you done now?”,Mum and Dad have officially run out of options.

So here we are, learning crate training at 2 years old.

We’re taking it slow with baby steps. The crate stays fully open, we’re eating our meals in there, exploring it on our own, and learning that it’s a safe and positive space without any pressure.

The goal isn’t punishment — it’s helping us learn to switch off, stay safe, and make slightly better life choices. 🐾

Has anyone crate trained older dogs before?
We’d love some pointers!
