Horsemanship & Trail Clinic
Level ⭐️ & ⭐️⭐️
A practical, confidence-building clinic designed to improve your horse’s foundation skills and prepare you for real-world riding situations.
Day 1 – ⭐️ Foundation Skills
Held at our Garfield property, Day 1 focuses on building confidence, control and understanding both on the ground and under saddle.
We will cover:
• Ground skills & handling
• Ridden skills & rider position
• Obstacle work
• Float loading practice
• Riding in a group environment
(front, middle, back positions, safe spacing, awareness)
This day sets the foundation to help both horse and rider feel calm, confident and prepared.
Day 2 – ⭐️⭐️ Trail Experience (Hookers Road, Nyora)
Participants must have completed ⭐️one star and have the tick of approval they can confidently handle and ride their horse in a group situation.
We will float to Hookers Road, Nyora (approx. 25minutes from Garfield) and head out for a relaxed trail ride.
• Approx. 2 hour ride
• Walk & trot only
• Focus on calm, confident riding outside the arena
• Cantering is reserved for ⭐️⭐️⭐️ level clinics
The ride will be tailored to suit the group’s confidence and goals.

$400 per person (includes both days)
$150 deposit required to secure your spot
Balance payable no later than 24/6
• Overnight camping onsite
Also the option of an insulated shed available. Includes split system, sleeps up to 3 people (single bed + Double bed) $20 per night
• Onsite day yards available $10 per night
• or BYO electric or steel yards
