🐕 Happy International Dog Day to you and Happy 9th Business Birthday to us 🤭
🐕🦺 Wowser, here we are sitting in the sun in front of our cute little store, after I decided to bake a cake and some cookies for newly adopted Willow what seem a week ago. I guess we got a bit sidetracked. 🫣
🩷 It’s hectic having a brick & mortar in these times and being in a love-hate relationship with social media on top. Yet here we are! Maybe because Willow and I pretty much just do us. Positively weird, beautiful cakes, small batch treats, free dad jokes paired with blurry pictures and a huge sprinkle of nerd. Sometimes chatting my day away instead of working. Supporting small rescues. Frothing over AI.
🐩 Maybe we are still here because we keep it enjoyable in our happy bubble. Like Myspace. 🖤
I don’t do gifted collabs and FOMO sales. There is no rage bait, fake traffic or the worst: me doing a lil German dance in a reel. Quite unspectacular, yet better for your nerves and eyes. Promise.
🐕 Probably that’s why the algorithm avoids Willow’s Pantry like the plague and shows my carefully created content to selected 30 people only. 😆
🦮 Or maybe the recipe is simply my love for Willow. Oozing out of this cute shop - a haven for dog lovers and our local community, tucked into a leafy side street away from the hustle. Where I tell you all about Willow, if you want or not (sorry, GenZ 😆). Our happy place where people are not just customers.
🐕 We are looking forward to rocking the years ahead, baking many more cookies and smooching the cute faces coming through the gate. Dogs of course, everything else would be weird. But somehow on brand.
