We got a quote for a dental and to tell you the truth it’s a lot!! He is almost 3 years of age but he is not wanting to eat anything that needs to be chewed
All he wants to eat is soups and soft broken up foods
He is also very gentle with toys which is great but I have noticed he will not hold tight in his jaw
I’m just worried he has something else going on!
I don’t think he has ever eaten bones either by the looks of it as his teeth look brown in parts and decayed
He is such a good boy and listens to what we ask of him
He sits and waits and just loves to be loved 🤎

Found a pic of Tessa from when she arrived 3 years ago after been chained up for 7 years and her body been exploited against her wish 😡 she is a happy girl now!! She had an operation on her eyes in the beginning she was also desexed and they found that apart from bleeding she also had 5 more pups in her belly
She has come a long way now
The vet said the other day she needs to
Loose a little weight but apart from that she is good
Just her nose which has lupus and can be painful at times
Very sensitive to sun
This is what the vet said we can do read on the leaflet he sent me 💓

I take them through a big process these days before they come as I want to know that their heart is in the right place 🤎🐾🙏 and that they will spend time getting to know the animals 🐾🤎🐾🤎

Oh my goodness I have so many oldies at the moment and some others on pred
We are going through a bottle every couple of weeks 😃

UPDATE
so I don’t know why I did not think of insulinoma, have seen it before and this is what it’s like!! But it’s been a while and I have not had any ferrets with it for the last 6 years
Just to answer everyone’s questions as I’m doing all the animals right now feeding cleaning medicating doing also sheep cows dogs etc etc

He did not fall off the cat climber, I moved it to the cats room and I was watching them whilst on it
When we get other cat climbers I might turn them on the side as I know ferrets are not good with heights

I am a stress head and I did panic
My vet is not available till next week and he can do ulstrasounds then
But meanwhile I am putting porridge on pred to see

Porridge did this last week but I was not sure if I was imagining as it was the end part I saw him do and again before he ate so I will make sure to keep up his feed

I have not checked his blood pressure as I’m not sure I can use that thing right and Porridge will not stay still for me maybe when someone is here to help me

Anyway thank you all so so much for your suggestions and reminders
Will keep you updated
He was happy to have his breakfast and I will feed him again a bit later
He is always a very hungry ferret 😆

Good morning, Porridge is doing strange things this morning and I’m waiting for vet to be open so I can talk to them
He did This thing where he was dragging his legs a couple of times then looked glassy eyed and layed down
He was a little panicking but then He got better again got up and ran around and is still running around playing now
He did this a couple of times
We know he has adrenal has a superlorin implant and also has an enlarged spleen
Any ideas? I’m not sure if they mini strokes or mini seizures 😥 Im Very worried about him
Now he is up playing again
