A little appreciation post for a beautiful act of kindness 💙
I wanted to take a moment to publicly acknowledge Tim from Strike Laser Cutting and the incredible kindness he has shown our family.
When my Dad passed away recently from leukaemia, we wanted something special to mark his resting place. We reached out to Tim about making a small memorial sign, never expecting what would happen next.
Tim generously made and gifted this to our family completely free of charge. 🙌🏼
At a time when our hearts have been absolutely broken, his kindness, generosity and the care he put into something so deeply personal to our family has meant more than I could ever put into words. 🥺
It wasn’t simply a piece of metal that Tim made for us. It was a symbolic gesture for our Dad, something that will stand at his resting place and remain there long after this heartbreaking time has passed. That makes what Tim did even more special to us.
Throughout the whole process, his communication, patience and attention to detail were exceptional. He listened to what we wanted, cared about the little details and created something that was exactly what we hoped for.
We were honestly so overwhelmed by his kindness when we received it. In the middle of such a difficult time, having someone who didn’t know our family personally go out of their way to do something so thoughtful reminded us that there is still so much goodness and compassion in the world.
