Big congratulations to all of our juniors who competed so well at the trial! It’s great to see the next generation of triallers coming through and doing such a fantastic job in the arena. 👏🐕🐄

🐄🐕 Thank You – Our 2026 Trial Weekend 🐕🐄

A big thank you to everyone who helped make this year’s trial possible. Events like this only happen because of the many volunteers, helpers, sponsors, cattle donors and supporters who give their time to make it all come together.

A special shout out to the Hernani School who assisted in the yards on Saturday – your help was greatly appreciated and made a big difference to keeping everything running smoothly.

Thank you also to our judges, competitors and spectators for being part of the weekend.

This year we introduced the double arena format on Saturday to help keep the program moving and give all competitors the opportunity to run their dogs that were entered. While it was something a little different and a there are few things to change in the future, we were pleased with how the weekend ran overall and appreciate those who supported the format and the effort involved in trying new things.

Our event is run by a very small committee, with a lot of volunteer hours going in behind the scenes to make the weekend happen and we’re grateful to everyone who helped make it possible.

Thanks again to everyone who came along, helped out and competed. Results will be put up in the coming days.

🚨 COMPETITOR NOTICE – PLEASE READ 🚨

Please find below the draw for the E/M/N for tomorrow.

We will be running two arenas:
• Arena 1 – Undercover Arena (priority arena)
• Arena 2 – Outdoor Arena

Please note: The red number 1 or 2 next to your name indicates which arena you will run in.

Both arenas will start at 6:30am, with the judges’ talk at 6:15am.

If you have two runs close together and are unsure which arena to go to, please go to Arena 1 first. Your run in Arena 2 will then move to the end of that round if you miss it.

We understand this setup is new and a little different, so please be patient and kind while we work through the runs. We are doing our very best to ensure everyone who has entered gets a fair run.
