So how did this start? Voyage Vet was inspired by a love of nature, travel, sailing, and the human-animal bond. There are few options available for owners who want technical and medical advice when transporting their pets internationally by sea or land, or while travelling in remote areas.
Hi, I'm Adam.
I am an experienced small animal veterinarian and a travel addict. Luck, passion, and chronically itchy soles have meant that I have lived and worked in the UK, New Zealand (twice), Singapore, and Australia, and have been fortunate enough to travel widely elsewhere too. From making and updating pet passports and performing pet export checks in the UK, to dealing with quarantined imported animals in Singapore, and at various points moving my own animals internationally and living off-grid with my two dogs, I am well aware of how complex and stressful these processes can be!
When I'm not looking after animals or travelling, I love to sail, and am currently getting involved in the local racing series, trying to stop my dog Amos falling off of boats, and working my way up the Royal Yachting Association qualification ladder.
