Merry Christmas from Sadie and Finigan to all our page followers; especially to the 10 families that adopted puppies from our first-ever litter. I hope they haven't chewed too many expensive possessions, but to make you feel better, Sadie has chewed two remotes and a pair of spectacles in the last month to become officially our most mischievous pet.

And then there was one. Handsome Buddy, but he only has to wait until Friday for his new Gympie family - we think he is keeping his litter name. Rolly-polly Benny (now Jasper) took off at lunchtime for acreage in the Sunshine Coast hinterland, and excitement machine Pearl (now Harper) drove off a few minutes ago but is also staying close by in Gympie. On Monday, our sweet Wilbur (keeping his litter name) traveled out to Kingaroy but was quickly reunited with our old favorite Yassi (now Theo). The two owners are close mates.
Sadly, this will be our last post on this litter. To all the wonderful families who adopted Saddie's 10 bundles of cuteness; we hope they bring you lots of love and happiness. They were an absolute joy to raise.

It was Gerri's turn today to depart the countryside of Pie Creek to the bayside of Brisbane. He immediately fell into the arms of three happy teenagers, and it was great to see them bond so quickly. Bon-voyage Gerri, or whatever city-slicker name you go by now. 💕

Yassi now Theo; Babe now Milo; and Poppy now Dusty, left our house for their new homes today. They were such a big part of the litter, and their absence will be noticed. Rusty now Arlo; and Dax, left us earlier in the week. We wish all five pups the best of lives with their beautiful families. 💕

Nothing is sadder than an empty puppy bed. Yassi and Rusty found their forever families today. While we are very sad to see them all go; we are excited for them to commence their lives and adventures with the beautiful families that adopted each of them.

If we decide to revisit this emotional rollercoaster of breeding Labradors; Saddie's next litter will not be due until mid-2024.

Even though she is a natural mother, raring ten puppies is a massive feat, and we will give her 2 years of well-deserved rest. Well done, Saddie! 🥰

Finnigan completed his work 57 days before they were born and then just strutted around the rest of the time. 😁

The pups had their first pool party today. Some splashed straight in; others eagerly watched, while a few walked off believing it to be a ridiculous activity. All the pups will be moving on to their forever homes over the next two weeks.
