I saw plover babies today 🥰 a tiny fluffball on long legs, already out in the world.As soon as they’re born, they are ready, eyes open and off they go! They leave the nest and begin their little adventure. No cosy home to keep returning to, just open ground, watchful parents, and a very big world ahead.When they’re scared, they freeze completely — so still you could almost miss them.It reminded me to slow down, look more closely, and notice the tiny brave things happening all around us. 💚🐾
