A LITTLE LIFE UPDATE FROM US

If we’ve seemed a little quieter than usual… this is why.

For the past three months, our world has been filled with open homes, inspections, paperwork, and big decisions. And now, with full hearts, we can finally share it — we’ve sold our first home and are moving into our forever home.

As we pack up our life, our kitchen, and the little space where FurBaby Cookie Co. was born, we’ll be taking a short break to focus on this final step.

We will be closed from Easter Friday until the 1st of May.
No orders will be shipped until after the 1st of May.
Custom orders are now closed.

This business has always been built with intention, love, and soul — and this move is part of creating an even better space to keep making wholesome treats for your furbabies.

We couldn’t not share this video the family sent us — Neo celebrating with his birthday cake like the absolute king he is. The comments had us in stitches… apparently the cake looked so real even the kid in the background thought it was theirs. Honestly, fair enough.

My birthday was on the 20th, and my husband and dad booked me into a cake class at for the 1st of November…
BUT between severe storm warnings and being 3 days post-op from knee surgery, the universe said “nice try, babe.” 😂

We had to reschedule — and it ended up happening about a week and a half later — and honestly? SO worth the wait.
We finally got there and had the BEST time ever. The ladies at Ipswich Cake Room are absolute gems… supportive, down-to-earth, and just beautiful souls all around. Why wouldn’t I keep going back?! 🤍

This class was exactly what I needed to level up my piping skills for my pupcakes.
And YES, it was a human cake… and YES, I was secretly eating the icing the whole time. Hehehe no regrets. 😌🍰

Highly recommend booking yourself (or the kids!) into their events and holiday workshops — so much fun and so much to learn! ✨

Things I Wouldn’t Spend My Money On As a Pet Treat Maker

Honestly, some of the things I see in the pet treat industry make me upset. Not just because they’re misleading, but because they compromise the health of the animals we love. Here’s what I refuse to spend money on:

🔥 Overly processed commercial treats If I can’t pronounce half the ingredients, your dog’s body can’t either. Paying for fillers instead of nutrition is infuriating.

🔥 Trendy “healthy” treats with zero transparency “Natural” slapped on a label means nothing if a brand won’t tell you where their ingredients come from. That lack of honesty makes my blood boil.

🔥 Treats dyed to look ‘cute’ or colourful Pink hearts, blue bones — all for human eyes, not canine health. Those additives are unnecessary and upsetting.

🔥 Cheap bulk treats from big box stores They’re cheap for a reason: mass production, low-quality ingredients, and preservatives to keep them on shelves forever. Watching pets eat these makes me cringe.

🔥 ‘One-size-fits-all’ treats for every age + health need A 2 kg senior teacup dog and a 40 kg puppy do not have the same nutritional needs. It’s frustrating how marketing oversimplifies something that should be tailored.
