Dental day. Spent the day getting the horses’ teeth floated and checked. They were definitely a little sleepy and out of it afterwards, but now they’re feeling much better with maintained and balanced teeth again.

Now the important question…

Who did post-dental sedation the best? 🤣

I had a fantastic day at the yesterday. I had the privilege of working with lovely women and their beautiful horses.

Witnessing them on their horse journey was such a joy. Watching and guiding them as they refined and gained new skills, furthered their knowledge of horse behaviour, and deepened their relationship and communication with their horses was a real pleasure.

Thank you to everyone who showed up and trusted me to guide you and your horse.

A big thank you as well to for organising and creating such a beautiful, cooperative and safe environment to teach, share and learn in. 😊

Unfortunately I only have this one photo, which doesn’t do the weekend justice, but I was too busy teaching. 😉
Oh and that’s not me in the picture. 😂

I wasn’t planning on this today at all, but I had Flame in the arena and after some groundwork I just got the feeling it was the right time to see if I could lay across her back.

First time for her.

I’m not officially starting her under saddle, I’m focusing on Storm at the moment but I do think she’s ready.

Who knows what we’ll do next. 🥰🤣

What was that, Rosa?! 😂

Rosa is slowly growing into herself and definitely getting more confident. At only just 2 years old she is still a baby, but she is definitely challenging Phoenix at the moment.

Poor old boy is probably over young horses by now. Bless him, he has been a great companion, educator, leader and guide for my youngsters for a long time. 🥰

This is an older video from when Storm was still a stallion. Goodness he has grown up!

Him and Valentine would play fight regularly. They would canter around, rear and just have fun. 😅

Visited family on the farm this weekend and had the pleasure of meeting this gorgeous little c**t.

He’s just beautiful and his amazing mum is so patience.

Very curious to see if his coat colour changes or if he stays black like her?! **t

We visited the family on the farm over Easter. This country is just breathtaking.

When you drive out into those hills it really does feel like a different world. Away from people, but with family. I feel incredibly lucky to be able to come out here and stay for a little while.

We played “spot the kangaroo” and made it to 43. 🦘🤣

Sadly it’s very dry going into winter, so praying they get some rain.
