Introducing tiny but mighty chihuahua pup Bowie!🐾 Bowie came in for his vet check recently and to have his first set of puppy vaccines. These vaccines protect against; Parvovirus, Hepatitis, Distemper and Leptospirosis.

Vaccines work by inducing the immune system to make antibodies, protecting against infection. For various reasons a small number of dogs will not create a full protective response. Giving two doses to puppies helped increase the chance of a full immune response, as do yearly boosters throughout their life.

We can't wait to see you back in a few weeks Bowie for your second set of vaccinations with our nursing team 🩵

Bringing home a new puppy? 💙

We thought you might like to see little cutie Otto who recently visited us for his castration. Despite apparently being a little monkey at home and full of mischief he was good as gold for our nursing team 😍

Neutering your cat while they are young is so important as they can breed from 4 months of age and mate with their siblings and parents. Rescues are bursting at the seams with unwanted cats and finding homes for kittens can be really difficult so please ensure your kittens are kept indoors until they have been spayed/castrated.
