Happy 1st Birthday Miss Nora!

Just a reminder for our followers - Nora was our first ever baby from Azzura Charioteer and Azzura Bachelors Suri Fire.

Can wait till this time next year to mate you to one of our newest boys to see if you can bring out your father’s lovely colouring.

We also apologise for the not great photos - our first time shearing by our own hands :)

After a busy few days shearing (almost) everyone we wanted to take a few moments to see how they were all going......

We were treated to a most impressive display in the boys paddock and Bob (our flood rescue) was happy to pose for some photos.......

Oh My God!
Today holds such significance for Team Desiderata.

11 years ago today we lost the matriarch of our family to cancer. 11 years later she was smiling down on us and gave us a very beautiful baby boy to the youngest members FIRST suri.

Sydney Royal Easter Show 2025
Team Desiderata has finally finished the 2025 SRES and we had a blast! Thank you to everyone who made it possible, once again we had a team of 5 and ALL boys

And a special congratulations to Tahlia for receiving 1st Place Stockman, 1st Place Showman and Champion Adult Preliminary in the Junior Paraders, as well as her Highly Commended in the Paint and Sip.
Kerith and Tiffani also received Highly Commended for their Paint and Sip efforts, Tiffani also received Highly Commended in Adult Breeder Paraders and 4th as a consolation prize for helping with the Junior Judging.

Babies!!!!! Babies everywhere........after a demanding yet incredibly rewarding birthing season we've had to reevaluate our herd and have listed several beautiful animals for sale.........it'll be bittersweet to see some of these guys go but we can't keep them all!!! If you or anyone you know is interested in adopting an alpaca or 2 let me know and I'll send you our sales list.
