Margo's behaviour around other dogs is still unknown, so introductions should be done slowly and carefully.

6 weeks in care and Nanook is starting to think we’ve forgotten to list him on the adoption page. 😂

Seriously though, how is this little bloke still here?!

Nanook is a 12-week-old Staffy cross with a goofy personality, a face that gets him out of trouble and absolutely no idea how ridiculously cute he is. 🥹

He’s funny, a little bit ridiculous and the kind of pup who can make you laugh just by existing.

And he’s actually got some pretty good manners for a baby!

He’s already spent half his little life in foster care, learning the ropes and getting ready for a family of his own.

Six weeks might not sound like much, but when you’re only 12 weeks old, that’s a pretty big chunk of your life.

Nanook doesn’t need anything fancy. Just a family who’ll love his goofy little self, keep teaching him about the world and give him a home to grow up in.

Surely someone out there needs a Nanook in their life? 🖤

His adoption fee is $400, which includes all his vet work — desexing, microchipping and vaccinations.

Hi. I’m Teddy. 🧸

I’m 12 weeks old and apparently I’m supposed to tell you why you should adopt me.

That feels like a lot of pressure for someone who still has absolutely no idea what they’re doing. 😂

I’m a Staffy cross Lab, and I’m a bit of a quiet little soul. I really, really like humans. Give me a little patience and suddenly I’m right there wanting to be part of whatever you’re doing.

I’ve already been hanging out with kids, cats and dogs of all different sizes and ages, so I’m getting a pretty good start at this whole “being a family dog” thing.

And for only 12 weeks old, I’m already starting to figure a few things out.

I’m learning to use puppy pads and we’re working on sitting nicely for dinner. Sometimes the excitement of FOOD gets the better of me, but I’m getting there. 😂

I’m still very much a baby, so my training will need to continue with my new family, but I’m at the perfect age to learn and grow into the kind of dog you want beside you.

What I need now is someone who understands that the shy little puppy standing at the back can sometimes turn into the most devoted dog in the room once they realise they’re safe.

I don’t need you to have everything figured out.

We can learn together. 🤎

REHOME ASSIST!

🐾 MEET KOBIE – LOOKING FOR A NEW HOME🐾

Sometimes life throws unexpected challenges our way, and sadly, Kobie is looking for a new family through no fault of his own. ❤️

Kobie’s elderly owner is moving into residential aged care due to declining health, meaning this much-loved boy needs somewhere new to call home.

A little about Kobie:
🐶 4.5-year-old Staffordshire Terrier
🐾 Medium-sized
❤️ Extremely friendly, happy-go-lucky personality
🐕 Has interacted well with other dogs
🐈 Has previously lived happily alongside a cat
🏡 Toilet trained

Kobie is described as an absolute sweetheart who loves people and has a wonderful temperament. He has been around adults and is exceptionally friendly, although his suitability with children is yet to be confirmed.

This is a big change for Kobie, and we're hoping to find him a family who can offer him the stability, love and security he deserves.

The update everyone has been waiting for 💗🐾

Because of all the shares, the comments and love we received, we have been able to secure a home for the two boys together!

Now we need one last push from our community!

The boys will be heading from Innisfail to Stonehenge and we have been able to secure transport for them!
Unfortunately, with the cost of fuel, this is not something we can cover on our own! 😞

If you would like to contribute to the boys transport to their forever home together we would be so appreciate if you could donate to our bank account.
We will be updating the post with the amount we receive so that we don’t take more funds than what we need. We are estimating around $700.

Today’s a big day for our girl Zwina 🤍

We’re on our way to the vet for her to begin her heartworm treatment.

It’s going to be a tough road for her, and we’d be lying if we said we weren’t a little worried. But this beautiful girl deserves every chance at a long, healthy life.

We also wanted to take a moment to thank our incredible community. When we asked for help with Zwina’s treatment, you showed up for her. Every donation, every share and every kind word has meant so much to us. 🥹

Rescue is hard, and some days the weight of it all feels enormous. But having a community behind us, and behind dogs like Zwina, makes such a difference.

So from all of us, thank you. You’ve helped give this girl a chance she might not otherwise have had.

Send our beautiful Zwina some love today. She’s going to need it. ❤️‍🩹

When Kora first came into care she was extremely underweight, tick and flea ridden.

Her new pawrents fell in love the moment they saw Kora and made a promise that all the bad days were behind her.

Only a few weeks in care and the progress this girl has made in her coat, weight and confidence is incredible.

She still has a long way to go to get to her ideal weight, but with love, care and time Kora will be back to her full health.

We cannot begin to express what being a foster carer means to us. The dedication, time and love that is poured into dogs that are lucky enough to have a second chance is a testimony to how selfless and caring humans can be.

We are so grateful to every single carer, adopter and volunteer who takes on dogs needing that extra care and are truly thankful for reminding us why we do what we do on the days it gets tough and we feel like giving up.

Two old boys who have lost everything 💔

These two boys have found themselves in a heartbreaking situation, and we desperately want to see them find somewhere safe to land.

Meet Chewbacca, a Husky around 4 years old, and Sheldon, a Bullarab believed to be around 8 or 9 years old.

Their owner has reportedly passed away, and the boys were found wandering together, attached by a ratchet strap. The phone numbers on their collars were disconnected, leaving them with nowhere to go.

What makes this even harder is how much they rely on each other. When separated, they become distressed. They’re all each other has right now, and we would love nothing more than to keep them together.

They’re currently in Innisfail, QLD, and desperately need someone willing to open their home and heart to both of them.

They’ve already lost the person they knew as home. We don’t want them to lose each other too.

If you can help these boys, please reach out. And if you can’t, please share their story. Somewhere out there might be the person who can give Chewbacca and Sheldon their next chapter. ❤️
