BIG SHOUT OUT TO TINA’S TREATS!!

I had the pleasure of meeting Tina from Tina’s Treats yesterday when I ordered some treats for my 5 month old Cavoodle puppy.

I was looking for some 100% natural treats that I could access easily to give to my pup as I had read so many bad things about some mainstream supermarket and pet shop treats (mainly the jerky ones) being extremely dangerous for dogs.

She makes everything from scratch and does small batch cooking to keep the quality in each item. Her prices are also extremely reasonable and she lives in Cairns.

Brilliant 💕

This man was forced to give his dog to the Humane Society due to undergoing lengthy hospital stay.

This nurse found out and immediately went to the shelter and adopted his dog.

She brings him to visit daily and will return him as soon as the man is released!❤️

I love this 😀

I make quilts to donate so rarely know who receives them. However, today I was able to present one of my quilts in person to a woman I’ve never met before and it was such a choice experience for me.

On Dec 9 this woman is going to have one leg, toes from the other foot, all fingers from one hand, and all but one finger from her other hand, amputated. The quilt I had recently finished ended up with two blocks turned the wrong way. I struggled with whether to repair it when I learned about this woman and knew the quilt needed to go to her, exactly as it was.

Today when I presented the quilt to her and her husband I told them two of the blocks were not going the right direction and challenged them to find them. I asked if it would be any less warm or comforting with those blocks not being perfect and of course they said no. I told them in time it would be the same with the loss of her leg, fingers and toes. It wouldn’t change who she is and the impact she will have on the lives of those who surround her.

With all the quilts I have given away, I have never before experienced the feelings I had today. I KNOW her feelings of loss because I lost all use of my left arm 57 years ago and I have learned that I’m still an ok person capable of serving others.
