I myself have learnt just like anything worth working for, there is discomfort, challenges, a lot of doubt, many rewards, there are good days and bloody tough ones, BUT there is always more to Learn.

Raised amidst the mountain cattle runs of Tumut, where annual cattle drives took a month, Phil's destiny was always with horses. He sought more than just the grit of a stockman; he sought the knowledge of a horseman. After his quest took him to America, Phil made the Cutting Futurity Finals in multiple states. In 1983, he became the first Australian to judge a major Futurity in the States. Now one of Australia's top educators in Western Performance, Horse Deals spoke to Phil to find out more about his journey.
