ADDITIONAL SOUTHERN AND NORTHERN DAYS AVAILABLE

Thanks to some amazing volunteers in Taree and Kempsey who have put their hand up to be a collection point for donations. I will be travelling to each location an additional day each week.

I have space to see any horses that need a session and I am offering a discount for anyone who has a sore horse and has been affected by floods. And anyone who has a donation for the rescue cattle and stallions.

They were let down by so many people. Not everyone survived long enough to leave.

Those who did make it out are getting ready to leave quarantine and move into their new paddock.

I chose not to add a warning about these images because whilst they might be confronting to some people, choosing not to see them is choosing not to SEE THEM and they deserved to be seen long before they lost their mates, their siblings, their babies, their own lives.

The ones who are now safe and accessing food and water deserve to be seen in both their trauma and their strength.

If anyone would like to donate, please dm. I am doing a run on Friday for them.

We could really use some more if the following:

🐮 wound sprays and first aid supplies
🐮 pony pellets or cow pellets
🐴 copra
🐮 meadow hay (any cattle hay these guys have inhaled feed, making up for lost time!)
🐴 Rhodes or any other gentle horse hay (these guys are a huge colic risk right now)
🐴 Chaffe

Are your horses struggling with hoof issues due to the wet weather?

Mine are 😩. This is Melody, Mel is a 17 year old TB and she has always struggled with hoof issues due to thin soles, and thin walls added to an old injury making her wear unevenly on all 4 feet.

She had her regular trim today, with remedial front shoes and unfortunately still has seedy toe present.

Not to worry, Des uses all our products on his clients horses (not just mine), and Mel was treated with Seedy NO! in any newly cut holes and Hoof Protect over the entire hoof to help protect against excess moisture.

We broke a record this week!

Nash's first progress shot 4 days apart. He arrived Wednesday afternoon and look at him now! 😍

This is why I love doing work with horses. Sometimes, change takes a lot of time, patience, tears, and perseverance. Other times, it's almost instantaneous, but it never matters how much it takes; the pay off it always worth it when you get to look out off your verandah and see them at peace and feeling good.

If they don't feel good inside, try as they might; they can't hide it on the outside. So you always come to know if you're doing a good job helping them. But you're always humbled by the challenging times.

I'm beyond loving having Nash here with my other babies. 🥰❤️ thank you, Bec, for trusting me to take him. I can't wait to see what this chapter in Nashy's journey brings ❤️❤️
