Unfortunately due to a reduction in pony numbers the Shetland Pony Riding School won’t be offering riding lessons at this time and for the foreseeable future.

We’re really sorry about this as we know how limited riding lessons are in Shetland but it’s just not possible at this time.

It has been fantastic to teach so many bairns and share our love for Shetland Ponies! We would like to thank everyone for their support over the years. We will update this page if anything changes.

🐴🐴🐴 WELCOME TO OUR NEW PAGE 🐴🐴🐴

Hello , we are looking to start up lessons again week commencing Monday 28th April for a 4 week block.

Lesson days and times will remain the same - Tuesdays 5.30pm & 6.30pm, Thursdays 5.30pm & 6.30pm and Saturdays 11am & 12noon.

Those who had lessons last block automatically have a space this time. We’ve made this new page to keep all messages together in one place so please message us to confirm your place or let us know if you won’t be back - We will get in touch with those we’ve not heard from in the next few weeks.

Could anyone who is currently on the waiting list or who would like to be added to the waiting list please message this page with bairns name, date of birth, height, weight and best contact details.
