🔶🔶🔶 Stunning Show horse prospect/ allrounder/eventer/best friend looking for a new home🔶🔶🔶

Loki is here with us in training whilst looking for his new home. A stunning chestnut with the big Blaze 😍 He is a super friendly guy who will catch you in the paddock and even live in your house with you if you were to let him. He is the smiling "ever so happy to see you" face you want to see at the end of a long day.

A great solid basic foundation training the elementary lateral movements, Loki whilst here has been exposed to just about everything we can think of: cattle, obstacles, gate open/close, tarps, curtains, pool noodles, water crossings, bridges, jumps, tractors, semi trucks, most farm animals, etc. He has also participated in clinics throughout both NSW and QLD.

He would excel in the showring or as a quality all-rounder, or your next eventing horse. He also enjoys groundwork, liberty work and learning tricks. Loki would suit an intermediate - experienced rider. Loki will only go to the best of homes as is a very sad sale for his owner as he is very much loved.

Loki's sale video will also be posted early next week.

Jasmine and Wynetta asked for a floating lesson after having a few troubles at their last outings getting on the float. After the lesson this is the end product ☺️🙌 nice and easy ! In fact the next problem was keeping Wyn off the float 😂😂😂

I love floating sessions as it’s always so rewarding for both horse and rider. I have been told by great mentors in the past - if you can get horses floating well and wanting to get into the float especially the scared or difficult ones then you have most likely learnt a wide array of horsemanship skills and have a great understanding of working well with a horses mind.

However, I always say to put it simply make the float a wonderful place to be and where all pressure is released. And very soon you will have a horse that will self load and be a very willing loader.
Secondly don’t forget floating is not something that should just happen. It is something that you work towards with your horse. Very happy to see that Jasmine took out the time to ‘train’ floating. I think a lot of of us (me in the past included) just leave it to when we actually have to get somewhere to have our horses go up on the float to ‘train’ floating and when time is falling short.
So another hint take out the time here and there to train your horse to want to willingly get onto the float without any time pressure 😀

Who is coming along this Sunday? I don't have any float spaces but I am sure if you guys ask there can be team up float whys :) Noms close tonight.

A chill comp and just some fun... I have asked if you need me out in the arena with you, I can be, if I lead you though its totally ok :D it will just mean you will not receive a score... so bring your horsies! There is no pressure just fun times and a chance to have an outing.

🐴🐴🐴 WE ARE IN NEED OF YOUR SUGGESTIONS🐴🐴🐴

What clinics/practice days would you guys like to see for the first part of this year? Comment below 🔽

Last year we had - cattle days plus open arena sorting comps, poles and jumping clinic, dressage + test run through clinics , ‘building confidence with obstacles clinics, horsemanship and groundwork with horse psychology clinics… let us know if you would like something else or some of these same clinics come about again.

Some newer Ideas have been a stockmans challenge clinic covering cattle and dry work patterns, dressage with poles, western dressage, horse and rider care day bringing on experts with dentistry, horse massage, riders posture etc.

Video below is just for post boosting…

To all our valued clients- We hope you have all had a wonderful Christmas and have a wonderful New Year!!! 🥳🎄🩷

I was hoping to be doing lessons over the Christmas/new year period however sadly we all ended up sick so It was a forced break. We will resume lessons on Monday the 5th January! 🥳🥳🥳
Whilst in my very sickly state working the horses in training and general horse care was about all I could manage. So sadly I did not get to give you all the merry Christmas I had hoped to be able to; however I am truly grateful and honoured to be apart of all your journeys.

A long note of appreciation to finish 2025:

I spent decades being obsessed and tunnel visioned (some would say to a not normal degree 😂) learning all I could about this sport and these beautiful animals. Training 1000’s of horses, getting 1000’s of lessons, competing and participating in 1000’s of clinics/comps (i don’t think I realise at times how much time and effort over my life has gone into learning everything horse)… I was also lucky enough to have this passion and it be nourished and supported so I could grow in the sport and as a rider, trainer and coach. I still invest a large portion of time into learning more (you never stop learning) but I never thought it would enable me to be lucky enough to do a job everyday I adore which allows me to continue to work with these beautiful animals each day and so many wonderful people.

It’s hard work at times and certainly a lifestyle you and your family adopt which carries a huge amount of responsibility, it’s not a job you get to just close the door to and leave (plenty of times we are out there sick or injured, sometimes with tears, in the hot sun, rain or storms still having to get the necessary daily jobs done) but I would not change it for the world.

When I look back over the year so many beautiful moments come to mind; shared excitement, laughter, frustration, disappointments, confusion, happiness and growth through the many highs and lows (learning opportunities) I have got to be apart of and support you all through on your horse journey. I have seen so many of you improve out of sight, to think of the riders you were at the start of the year and to where you are now an all the milestones you have achieved WOW I am so proud!
Many of you have shown so much resilience, perseverance and patience.
I am so thankful and appreciate you all letting me be apart of your horse journey and allowing me to work doing what I love each day.
As a coach and trainer I hope to teach you all and work with your horses to the best of my abilities and continue to improve and grow my knowledge to be able to share with you and your horses.
I cannot wait to see you all kicking goals, ride the highs and lows with you all again in 2026 and I am sure much like this year we will look back again in reflection and be proud!
We have many goals in the new year for improvement of this place, more clinics/camps/comps and buckle series , more opportunities for riders coming for lessons and horses coming for training/breaking in and/or sales prep and continuing to be refining and improving the services and facilities we offer.

Thankyou all for letting me be your coach, your horse’s trainer or your clinician this year, I have learnt so much and enjoyed so many special and cherished moments with you all and your beautiful horses, give yourselves a pat on the back and your horses a big hug for me to finish this year off ❤️ cannot wait to see you all again in 2026 🥳🥳🥳
