Daily routine
Pull up whelping box, lay clean vet bed spray the box with f10 till its wet and let it sit for 10 minutes, wipe off.
position the box back on the vet bed put puppy gym teddies back in(will be replaced or washed as needed) and put pups back in one at a time after weighing and daily ENS 🥰
I also spray the floor with f10 and let it sit before the bedding change busy busy busy

This story deserves to be a reel Dinahs been the most loving attentive mum, we've both been so focused on the task at hand she wanted a little snuggle yesterday to remind me she's still my baby shes just been busy 😍🥰

Correct guess of numbers and sexes goes to with her exact guess and honourable mention to for her guess of 5 girls 1 boy which in honesty was very generous girl ratio 😅 incredibly lucky Vision and Deans came through with the goods!

We are all happy in our puppy bubble stacking on the grams and sleeping the days away 🥰

After months of planning, researching, hoping, and dreaming, we are incredibly excited to announce the Arrival of our Vision × Dinah litter.

Whoever gave Dinah the pregnancy textbook can stop now, she's clearly read enough chapters 🤣
Morning sickness? ✔️
Suddenly starving and acting like she's never been fed a day in her life? ✔️
Still starving but apparently has absolutely no room left for food? ✔️
This week's challenge is convincing her that being hungry and eating are actually related concepts 🥴
We've started sneaking sardines back into her meals (a trick from the morning sickness era) to encourage her to eat more than a polite little snack. So far the fishy bribes seem to be working 🐟💕
Pregnancy is sure keeping us entertained!!

Deans is still very confused why she gets walks on her own,(much rathering a wild hoon with the others back waiting in the car) she's due in just over two weeks and clearly believes in rest as much as me 😅

From may 17 I posted on our litter page 😀
Now that we know Dinah is officially carrying puppies, we’ll be making a few changes to keep both her and the babies as safe as possible over the coming weeks 🥰
That means pressing pause on our big offlead weekend bush walks and her herding sessions. which honestly makes me a little sad because the sheep are one of her favourite things. And by “bush walks”… I really mean full speed bush hoon sessions where the dogs run their little hearts out 🤭
As much as she’d happily keep launching around with the others, it’s important that we avoid the risk of rough play, collisions, slips, or her overdoing it while pregnant.
So now comes the challenge of keeping her fit, active, and mentally happy in safer ways. This morning’s exercise was a “totally necessary” coffee run to the local cafe for my partner tiling our laundry (despite owning a perfectly good coffee machine at home 🤣). We’ll also be mixing in things like controlled treadmill work, quieter walks, and possibly some low speed bike sessions so she can still stretch her legs safely without the chaos of her housemates involved 🥴

Border Collies are true creatures of habit and ive taken to acclimatising Dinah early to our whelping room as her usual routine has her eating dinner in her crate and 2 years of that routine doesn't change over night 😅
In the mid/later stages of pregnancy Dinah has taken to drooling over food (including mine) and after a short period of morning sickness early on her appetite has finally kicked in and is fast fueling those little beans inside her now growing at a rapid rate!
