Meet Ali ❤️
Our sweet girl Ali is about to celebrate a very special milestone—she’ll be turning 3 this June! This beautiful soul has been a part of our hearts since she was just a tiny six-week-old pup. We still remember the 2,200km journey north to bring her home; she was the most patient little traveler then, and she remains the happiest companion on the road today.
A Heart of Gold
Ali is truly one of a kind. While many people think of Heelers as being strictly business, Ali gently breaks every stereotype. She is the definition of kindness and sweetness.
A Gentle Guardian, she’ll always give an enthusiastic "hello" when someone pulls up the drive, but it’s never out of anything but love. She races to the door not to guard, but to wait patiently for the car door to open so she can soak up all the cuddles she can get.
A calm spirit: She has a relaxed, easy-going nature that makes every day with her a joy.
The perfect companion: Her only "flaw" is loving us a little too much—she insists on snoozing right under my feet, completely unbothered when it’s time for me to get up!
A legacy of adventure
Ali carries a bit of Australian history in her veins. She comes from the legendary Malcolm Douglas line, descending from a dog named Turbo. For those who remember Malcolm, he was the true "Man of the North," sharing that same wild spirit and passion for nature as Steve Irwin.
Malcolm often chose Heelers for their loyalty and their striking resemblance to the dingoes he cared for in Broome. While Ali isn't from a working line, she has that same "give it a go" attitude. Whether she’s living as an "only child" or part of a big pack of six, she adapts with a wagging tail and a heart that doesn't have a single mean bone in it.
The newest chapter: Motherhood
We are so proud to share that Ali is now a mother for the very first time. Watching her with this litter has been a dream; she has stepped into motherhood with such natural grace.
• Nurturing: She is endlessly patient with her little ones.
• Attentive: She watches over them with a cautious, protective eye.
• Maternal: Every instinct she has is focused on the well-being of her babies.
Ali has always been our loyal shadow—never wandering from home or the campfire—and now, she’s passing that beautiful, steady spirit down to a new generation. We couldn't love her more.
