Where has the year gone already? Our showing is now on hold as we head into winter - just too cold here to prepare the goats for the showring. We finished off the first part of the year at Marburg over the weekend and both Penny and Zulu were awarded with Champion in their age groups. They both then went Best of Breed for Miniature Boer (doe and buck respectively). Great comments received again from the judges and there was plenty of interest from the public in the breed.

We'll only be breeding Miniature Boers this year, first kids due early springtime...watch this space 🙂

But for now, the big question is...who got into the berries??? 🤣

We headed to the Bonalbo Centenary Show yesterday with a small team of mini boers. But it was Zulu who made this day all about him!

Congratulations to KaiDi Park Zulu (Grand Champion Buck at the Inglewood Show) and KaiDi Park Just a Spot of Ink - owned by Kasey Smith - (Grand Champion Doe and Supreme Champion Miniature Goat at the Beenleigh Show).

Super proud of these two and our others - Audrey and Ginger Pop - who were awarded Champion in their age group at the Inglewood Show.

A good day out for KaiDi Park and Miniature Boers!!

It was great to take a small team of goats to Tenterfield show. We achieved some great results with the Miniature Boers. Results are:
Penny - Champion Kid Doe under 6 months and Best of Breed (Miniature Boer Doe).
Ginger Pop - Reserve Champion Adult Doe.
Levi - Best of Breed (Miniature Boer Buck).
Thanks to Sophia for taking photos this week.

We were provided with some really positive feedback again from the judges. Levi's displaying all the right qualities of a meat goat (sorry if I offend anyone here) and his son Zulu looks to be heading in the same direction - and this at only eight weeks old. Next show...Inglewood.

Where did January go???

It was a busy month here, with me taking on the role to organise the miniature goat section at the local Stanthorpe Show, on behalf of the AABMGS Society Inc. We had over 100 entries and did take 11 of our own along. Miniature Boers were well represented, and we bought home three reserve champions - Ginger Pop, Levi and the new man (well, kid at this stage) Zulu. Of course, I took no photos, so will have to see if I can get some of them all shortly.

We've also finished off the 2025/26 kidding season with five elf kids born in January. Bridie's twin girls, a single boy for Creamello and one of each for Ailsa. Creamello's boy loves the camera!!! Or the camera loves him??

I've made the hard decision to focus mainly on the Miniature Boers so most of the Australian Miniatures, Elfs (and a few Miniature Boers) are seeking new people. If you're interested in what we have, drop us a PM and I'll send you a catalogue.

It's 2026 and cuteness has arrived! Bridie's a mum to twin girls. One's a replica of her in looks; time will tell if she'll be just as cheeky.

That’s a wrap for 2025 kidding. Twins for Pav (and Levi), a girl (left) and a boy. We’ve had a great season and can’t wait to see how they all develop.
