And then… as the light was fading in Hunterville… Heather Gee-Taylor truly saved the best for last.

Her second foal, Glencorran Ship Shape, was not only the highest scoring foal of the day - but one of the highest scoring foals of the entire tour so far. 🚀

Shipshape is by Eurosport Chacco di Villagana Z — the impressive stallion who was imported to New Zealand and has since been exported to Australia, leaving behind some seriously good-moving and athletic progeny eho have featured on previous tours.

The dam, JPEG MS, is by Jaguar Mail out of the crossbred mare Capriole II (by Kabo Charlie), bringing together performance blood with strength and athleticism.
The result? A Derivative Register 2 foal that absolutely captured attention.

Powerful, modern, athletic — and scoring at the very top end of the scale.

For a debut breeder to present two foals and walk away with two Excellence Awards — including one of the top scores of the tour — is something pretty special.

The next youngster forward for Simone Hunter and Julianne Revfeim was the smart c**t Huntaway Carlucci.

This athletic c**t is by Euro Sport Chacco Di Villagana Z, a stallion we’ve already seen producing some very nice types on this tour, consistently stamping quality into his offspring.

Carlucci is out of the mare Good Time, by Lansing from the thoroughbred line Omnicorp xx

A nice, honest youngster and another good result for the Huntaway team.

🌟 NZ Warmblood Tour – Excellence Award Foal 🌟

It was a second big moment of the day for Georgia Sheard of Rose Flats Equestrian, with another homebred youngster stepping up to earn an award — and this one is extra special.

Meet Catalyst RF, a quality foal who also received an Excellence Award. 👏

And what we love most about this result?

This one is truly Georgia’s breeding program through and through.

Catalyst RF is by the imported-now-exported stallion Euro Sport Chacco di Villagana Z, who has consistently produced beautiful, athletic, high-scoring foals over the last few seasons here in New Zealand. His influence continues to show in modern type - and Catalyst RF is a wonderful example of that legacy.

On the dam side, things get even more personal.

He is out of Cornetto RF, a New Zealand Warmblood Stud Book mare bred by Georgia herself, by Cornet’s Air, out of Fetiche du Pas mare Optimistic NZPH.

So this isn’t just a nice foal — it’s the result of years of thoughtful, generational breeding decisions, with Georgia carefully developing her own mare lines and now seeing that work pay off in the next generation.

And that’s exactly what our stud book is all about.

Huge congratulations again to Georgia - two Excellence Award foals in one day is something to be very proud of.

A stellar end to the second day of the NZWA Tour with this incredible jumping bred foal "Lando" who is by Euro Sport Chacco Di Villagana Z out of Orphelia Xtreme (by Orlando) who rocketed to the top of the Showjumping rankings with an 80% and an Excellence Award for breeders Geoff and Gerda Bradly of Matata.

Casquo Blue beeindruckt über 1,60 Meter 🚀

Beim Longines FEI Jumping World Cup™ in Lyon/FRA lieferten der von uns gezogene CHACCO-BLUE-Sohn Casquo Blue und sein Reiter Harry Charles/GBR eine eindrucksvolle Vorstellung am Sonntagnachmittag ab und sicherten sich im Stechen des international stark besetzten Starterfeldes einen fantastischen fünften Platz. Der mittlerweile 15-jährige Oldenburger Wallach machte durch seine Performance im Parcours diese Saison schon mehrfach auf sich aufmerksam und platzierte sich mit dem 26-jährigen Briten unter anderem in Monte Carlo/MON in der second GCL competition auf Rang zwei sowie beim CSIO5* in Brüssel/BEL über 1,60 Meter auf Rang vier - um nur einige Erfolge zu nennen.

Casquo Blue impresses over 1.60 meters 🚀

At the Longines FEI Jumping World Cup™ in Lyon, Casquo Blue, a son of CHACCO-BLUE bred by us, and his rider Harry Charles/GBR delivered an impressive performance on Sunday afternoon, securing a fantastic fifth place in the jump-off against a strong international field. The now 15-year-old Oldenburg gelding has already attracted attention several times this season with his performance on the course and, together with the 26-year-old Brit, placed second in the second GCL competition in Monte Carlo, among other places, and fourth in the CSIO5* in Brussels over 1.60 meters – to name just a few of his successes.
