Mactrans Heavy Haulage has just completed a huge relocation for our valued client Q H & M Birt, hauling a fleet of serious heavyweights across Western Australia, the Cat 6015B, 6018, 6020, and the mighty Komatsu PC3400.
Shifting the PC3400 wasn’t just another haul, it was a record-breaking move that set a new benchmark for our capabilities.
Director Mussy Deen led from the front, truly all hands on deck. From climbing into the driver’s seat, to supervising each stage of the mammoth move, to piloting the loads himself. His leadership and commitment set the tone for the entire operation.
On the ground in Western Australia, the crew turned a heavy challenge into a smooth operation with Athol Martin in the block truck driver, Faadhil Deen in the 100 YEAR Limited Edition Superliner, Cameron McKellar in the MHH Pilot Car, Woody (Truck Driver) and Mick Arrabel in the MHH Field Service Vehicle each playing a key role in delivering the move safely and efficiently. Our MHH Workshop team Brad McGrath and Justin Morris back on the East Coast played a vital role in setting the trailer up for the tasks before heading over to tackle this big mission
Relocating machines of this size is no simple task, it takes detailed planning, precise coordination, and the right equipment for the job. From securing specialised permits to mapping out the safest and most efficient haulage routes, every step had to be executed flawlessly. A big thank you to Ross Dunne (Operations Manager) for keeping the move on track, Robert Aitchison (Permits Officer) for navigating the approvals process, and Yasmin Deen (Financial Controller) for ensuring everything ran smoothly behind the scenes.
This achievement is a proud milestone, and it wouldn’t have been possible without the skill, dedication, and teamwork of everyone involved.
