Thank you to everyone who visted us at the Mitchelton Jan Powers markets and bought our first aid kits - all proceeds have gone to AVA Welfare Vanuatu! Due to their popularity (we sold out by 9:30am) we will be creating more and continuing our partnership with AVA Welfare.

As we head into the Christmas break, many of us are fortunate enough to be packing our bags and heading overseas. If you’re travelling, making a small spot in your suitcase for much needed supplies— such as parasite prevention- can make a meaningful difference to rescue groups and vet clinics with limited resources. A small act of generosity can go a long way for animals in need.

Good Boy Vets recently donated packs of Bravecto and Nexgard for animals in the Philippines.

If you’re heading overseas, and would like to take items to donate- please feel free to reach out to us, we are happy to help where we can!

Ever watch those videos where they attach a microphone to a veterinarian for a day? Usually they say some pretty cool stuff, or talk to patients like babies. Not Rob, he talks about how his farts smell like cinnamon rolls…

ps Mack, our independent little girly, is still available for adoption! $150 and she will come vet checked, microchipped, vaccinated, wormed and desexed.

Archie, Lola and Milo are getting into the Christmas spirit! How impressive that all three dogs kept their antlers on AND looked at the camera at the same time!

Did you know Milo was one of the first surgeries Dr B and Dr Rob did together around Christmas time a few years ago. Milo had an abnormal thickening at the exit of his stomach that meant it was difficult for food to pass through and Milo would often vomit. Milo became extremely unwell, unable to keep any food down and weighed only 21kg at one point. B and Rob performed a surgery to widen the exit and Milo recovered well. During his Christmas visit this year he weighed in at a whopping 29kg!!

As a veterinarian, there is no better Christmas present than seeing your long term, very much loved patients doing so well after some pretty trying times.

Swipe to see baby Rob and B enjoying some pizza very kindly supplied by Milo’s mum Tanya after his big op!
