Labradoodle and Chihuahua helpers in a private set up social today and they were absolutely amazing.
Both did their jobs of making the other pups feel comfortable and helped build up their confidence.
Labradoodle helper just blows my mind watching him with the other dogs he is just so switched on.
It was his first time helping in a puppy social and he loved it. This lad is a real social boy, loves to play, loves to learn and loves to please he truly is a joy to have around.
When it comes to the Chihuahua she is a little star obviously great genetics then add in awesome parenting and environment we have a star so wonderful to see.
This session was set up for the sweet Groodle and his confidence is building up nicely as we go at his pace.
What all pups need first is to feel safe, and secure first in environments and situations we place them in. This helps build our relationship for trust and respect and then and only then can any real training start.

Mr ex humpy now mr awesome graduated today.
His humans have done so well.
Had his last lesson at the comslie beach and he loved it. Still a little work to do on off lead recall and we know practice and consistency is the key to getting solid behaviours.
Loved every minute coaching this boys humans.
5 star clients, 5 star parenting = happy dog = happy k9 coach.
This lad was tuckered after his session today🐾

Behind every pet is a team of dedicated veterinary professionals working tirelessly.
Sh*tty long hours, high stress situations and emotions of the animals and their humans.
Vets and vet nurses care deeply about animals for most it is their passion.
We choose to have pets and their is no and likely never will be a public health system for pets, so yes having pets can come with hefty pet bills at times and that is why there is pet insurance available.

A little kindness goes a long way, a thank you note

Our gorgeous Labradoodle girl is starting to shine.
Assessment with party boy Labradoodle helper and my boy and she was a little gem. Even with dogs she likes her space and she just removes herself. At anytime she feels unsure she goes back to the more chilled out human at the time.
Party boy helper and her had some lovely short bursts of interaction and play.
I cannot stress it enough the importance of learning to understand k9 lingo.
This girl is ball of nervous energy and through capturing all her good choices she is becoming much calmer, less anxious.
Remember dogs are talking all the time, you just need to learn to listen.

Dogs have the right to say no!

Dogs bring humans so much joy love and laughter, but living with humans is not always ideal for them. Many dogs do not get enough exercise, mental stimulation, or social interaction. Selective breeding often causes health problems just to meet human preferences. Dogs are completely dependent on us, when neglected or misunderstood, they do suffer.
Adding a dog to your family and loving them means being honest about what is best for them not just what is best for you.
All relationships are a 2 way street, the dog may be meeting your wants and needs, are you meeting your dogs wants and needs?.

Our little ADHD Labradoodle in just 3 weeks the difference in her is amazing.
Consistency with her humans.
Homeopathic remedy
Capturing all the good choices she makes and rewarding her.
Enrichment at home.
Today new farm park and with responding to all requests she was fantastic.
No reactivity around dogs or people where before she would.
Now what we need to work on is loose lead walking.
When a dog has a few unwanted behaviours on lead you cannot change all at once.
This girls humans are following the training program done everything I have asked them to do, been consistent and now they getting a much calmer k9 companion.
We even sat and had coffee at the power house because it was quiet and she was amazing though I am still saying this girl is not going to be a cafe dog.
Great session remember I am the coach it’s the humans that have to do the work.

Great sessions today at new farm park starting with our gorgeous Rottie girl.
Capturing all the wonderful calm choices she made and the odd 30 seconds to 3 minute actual training sessions because when you really hone in on capturing behaviours and reward very little other training is required.
Life style training truly is the best way to teach your dog.
Today a chilled session with teaching recalls, stays and loose lead walking. This girls human was amazing and was rewarded with coffee while we did a little cafe training.

Yay meet one of INATD little helpers .
This sweet girl has just graduated from my puppy lifestyle program and she truly is a little champ all thanks to her human setting her up for success and always listening to her little pup.
This girl now will join my team in helping other little pups build their confidence and learn their social skills.
Benefits of becoming a little helper is that their humans learn to become very fluent in k9 lingo.
Always feel blessed when humans give up their time to help other K9 parents in the community🙏🏼🐾
