One of the things I LOVE to see while educating a horse…

By them licking/ chewing on a thought, they are processing what we (the horse and I) have just done and learning it. It’s a great feeling when they start picking up what I’m putting down. 😂
I give them this moment and don’t interfere or move on until they are finishing processing and stop. Making sure they’ve really thought about it and let it set in.

Phoenix is a 15yo chestnut QH x SH mare, standing at 14.3hh unofficially. Currently unregistered however she is eligible for performance horse registration.

Phoenix is a mare who loves a job and loves to work. She has done everything from pony club, barrel racing, campdrafting, mustering, showjumping. She’ll do just about anything! Being SUPER cowy, she could be a ton of fun for someone wanting to get into drafts or even barrel racing.

Crack a whip, get on her from a barrel, slide off the back, she’ll stand there for it all.

Although she has plenty of riding years left in her, she could be used as a broodmare. She’s had 3 foals, one of which I broke in and sold as a 3yo at the start of 2025, a beautiful filly to break in and train.

Phoenix has been out of work for some time and has only had 2 weeks work before being put on the market. She is for sale due to no fault of her own, her owner has other commitments and doesn’t want to see her skills waste in a paddock.
