It was a process, but in the end his perfect partner was right under our noses all along!
I’m so thrilled to be able to support, guide & watch Jasper & his talented little owner Belle, the future holds big things for these two, starting today with a win at their 1st competition! 🥇💛🐴

Selling Jasper felt a little different… because in many ways, it felt like selling one of our own.

We own his brother, Lightning — and they could pass as twins. Same look, same breeding, same personality traits (well, Lightning is a bit spicier to be honest!) and the same genuine potential.

So when Jasper came to us to list, there was already a level of familiarity (and if we’re being honest… emotional investment!).

This sale also felt like a mirror image of our own philosophy.

Jasper’s breeder and owner is very much 'our kind of person' — she wasn’t worried about whether he sold quickly, or even if he sold at all. Her only priority was making sure he went to the right home.

And we completely understood that.

There were plenty of conversations, a lot of debriefing and some very honest discussions to make sure this felt right for everyone involved.

Because the best sales aren’t about urgency — they’re about alignment.

And this one genuinely feels like a match made in heaven.

With his new rider, plus the ongoing support of the person who bred and knows him best, we’re pretty confident Jasper will be out succeeding — just like his brother Lightning ✨

Ollie is off to Tassie - and I can’t wait to see him progress with Deb! This is the 2nd horse Deb has purchased sight unseen from me, thank you Deb for trusting me & loving my horses!

Some of the Ivy Bank babies had a successful weekend - with Ivy Bank Lightning having his 1st 1.15m class, and bringing home the win, along with taking the win in his last 4 starts! Ivy Bank Jasper working like dream, and forming a lovely bond with his soon to be new owner 12yo Belle. Jaspers little full brother Rudie headed out to his 1st ever show & he too brought home a blue ribbon! Go the golden ones!!
