Our second successful rescue mission. Our beloved client Chicken escaped from his home yesterday, and went missing the entire night. Thank you to Djamel for locating him, and to Fire & Rescue for strategically hosing him out.

Sweet, stinky, cute, vocal ladies. They are all the same. But in many ways so different. I don't have any guilt for eating eggs because we do our best to provide them a good life. They don't deserve any less, their presence adds so much to our own lives. Love you girls ❤️

As a boarder, bird nutrition and wellness is a top priority. Birds require a diverse diet rather than pellets and/or a simple bird seed mix. All birds under my care are fed 100% Box Divvy goodness 🪶

Did you know that sprouting, and even just soaking nuts & seeds activates helpful enzymes that increase nutrient absorption?

I love to do this with my walnuts - it pleasantly changes the texture and removes the bitter tannins.

These ingredients can be easily mix and matched to your bird's size and preference, then topped onto a fresh fruit & veggie chop or mash!

To be honest, they eat better than I do..

My name is Eloise and I am an Avian Pet Sitter based in Prospect, Sydney.

My cockatiel Matey grew up alongside me from the ages of 6 to 22 years old, and I was his favourite human. Since his passing, I found it extremely difficult to even consider the possibility of adopting a new bird. Instead I opted to put my experience and dedication to use, knowing that I could also bring value to pet owners in my community. In 2022, I established 'Birds in Paradise' in honour of Matey’s life.
I offer my personalised services with the understanding of how difficult it can be to leave behind our beloved pets, therefore I want to express how trust and honesty is most fundamental to myself and within the operation of my business. Whilst under my care, I treat the animals as my own, ensuring all owners feel at ease knowing that their pets are being cared for in a knowledgable, loving and enriching environment.

The services I offer include:
- bird & chicken boarding*
- home visits
- plant care
- pet transportation
I have experience caring for birds in palliative care, administering medication and hand-rearing.
*Cages are provided upon request, on a first come first serve basis. Soaked & sprouted seeds, Box Divvy fruits & vegetables, and foraging materials are served daily. Chickens are fed a layer pellet blend and scraps donated by a local preschool
