✨ This month is 14 Years Grooming Dogs – What a Ride! ✨

Can you believe it’s been 14 years? Time flies when you’re covered in fur-glitter, and the occasional “oops, did that just happen?” moment! 🐾

From tiny pups to giant Bullmastiffs, from shy dogs to full-on divas, I’ve loved every wag and happy tail along the way. Each dog has taught me patience, love, and that sometimes a little diva attitude just makes them even more charming 😅😂

I’ve met the most amazing clients too—people who trust me with their fur babies, share stories, and let me be part of their dog’s life. Your loyalty and smiles have made every snip, bath, and brush worth it. 💛

Here’s to more fluff, cuddles, squeaky-clean pets, and all the joy that comes with them. Thank you for letting me do what I love for so many years—and here’s to many more! ✂️💖❤️🥰🥳

It's gonna be hot!

😎 WARNING: This long weekend extreme heat is expected in parts of Queensland, with temperatures nearing 40 degrees on Monday!

Help pets escape the heat by keeping them safe, cool and hydrated.

🐶🐱🐹 For domestic pets:
🏡 Check they have ample shade and ventilation all day (remember, the sun moves throughout the day - what's shady in the morning won't be shady at midday or in the afternoon).
💧 Ensure you pet has plenty of access to cool water, in multiple bowls incase one tips over
🌅 Keep your pet walks to sunrise and sunset, if the ground is too hot for you it's too hot for your pet!
🚗 Never leave your dog in a car (a cracked window makes little difference to the temperature) or on a hot ute tray
😎 Add pet appropriate cooling enrichment to their day from frozen pupsicles to a wet towel for them to lie on in a cool and shady spot.

💧 Provide a shallow bowl of water with climbing sticks and/or rocks in a safe place free from potential predators

🇦🇺 Happy Australia Day to all of our supporters.

Today we reflect on what it means to belong to this land we call home. A place shaped by resilience, courage, and service.

We pause to honour the incredible animals who have served alongside our brave men and women in the armed forces, as well as the service and support animals who continue to protect, assist, and stand beside Australians every day.

At the Australian War Animal Memorial Organisation, we recognise the extraordinary loyalty, courage, and sacrifice of these remarkable animals throughout our history. From horses, dogs, pigeons, and donkeys in times of war, to today’s police K9 and mounted units, search and rescue animals, detection dogs, and assistance animals who save lives, provide independence, and offer comfort and safety in our communities.

As we mark this national day, we remember with gratitude the heroic war animals of the past and honour the service animals of today who continue to serve without hesitation.

Lest we forget.

Gidday people of Linville and Moore

Robyn the Dog Groomer will be set up at the Linville Store and Cafe on the 4th Tuesday every second month.

Dates for this year are:

• March 24
• May 26
• July 28
• September 22
• November 24

Grooming available for dogs of all shapes and sizes – washes, tidy-ups, and full grooms.
