Heading to the Vet Expo Sydney? Come and find us at Stand S30. On 9–10 September, we’ll be introducing LifeWave IceWave phototherapy technology to veterinarians, veterinary nurses and practitioners from across Australia. If you’re curious about how the technology works, what research is available, or where IceWave may fit alongside existing veterinary care, we’d love to have a conversation. We can have the relevant information ready for you when you arrive. Planning to attend? Book a short conversation with us at Stand S30 and let us know what you’d most like to explore

Two weeks until Vet Expo Sydney — and we’re bringing more than a product display. We’ll have published research links, practitioner placement resources, practice account information and practical IceWave demonstrations ready to explore.

Most importantly, we want open conversations about where complementary phototherapy may — or may not — fit within animal care. We believe professionals deserve information they can review, question and assess for themselves.

Follow our countdown to Sydney and keep an eye on our upcoming posts as we share the resources, questions and conversations we’re preparing to take to the Vet Expo Sydney.

If you could sit down with a veterinarian and ask ONE question about bringing your horse back into work this spring, what would it be? Maybe it’s about workload. Recovery. Changes in movement. Older horses. When stiffness needs investigating. Or simply knowing when something isn’t quite right. We’re collecting the questions horse owners and equine practitioners genuinely want answered as spring approaches—and we’ll use the common themes to shape future educational content and conversations. So this one is over to you: leave your question in the comments. What would you ask your vet?

Where do phototherapy patches actually fit into your horse’s spring routine? Think of IceWave as one optional piece of a much bigger picture.
Returning to work may include veterinary guidance, progressive exercise, appropriate recovery, hoof care, nutrition, practitioner support and careful observation of your horse.
No single product replaces those fundamentals. IceWave gives owners another simple, non-transdermal option to explore as part of their broader wellness routine. Getting your horse ready for spring?

We’re taking more than a sales brochure to the Sydney Vet Expo. We know veterinary professionals want information they can review for themselves. That’s why our Expo resources will include:
1. LifeWave product and technology information.
2. Published research links.
3. Practical placement resources.
4. Practice account information.

Our goal is to give veterinarians and practitioners something useful to take away, investigate and consider. Can’t make it to Sydney?
You can still start exploring the information now.
Visit Pinto’s Patches to access LifeWave research and learn more about the technology.

Most equine practitioners don’t need another product. They need better support. Adding something new to your practice should mean more than receiving an order link. You need education, placement resources, client communication tools, professional boundaries and someone to turn to when questions arise. That’s what we’re working to build through the Pinto’s Patches Inner Circle Practitioner Network—a community designed to help practitioners confidently explore where IceWave can fit within their existing business. If you’re an equine massage therapist, bodyworker or practitioner looking for another way to support your clients, join the Facebook Inner Circle Practitioner Network and start the conversation with us.

Complementary means alongside—not instead of. That distinction matters. IceWave patches should never be positioned as a replacement for veterinary assessment, diagnosis or treatment. Instead, the conversation is about where complementary phototherapy may fit alongside veterinary care, good management, owner observation and appropriately qualified practitioner support. Want to understand how IceWave could complement your existing equine business? Explore the Pinto’s Patches practitioner resources and discover how we’re helping practitioners introduce phototherapy responsibly.

We’re heading to Sydney’s Vet Expo on 9–10 September—and we’re ready for the questions. At our stand, we’ll have LifeWave product information, published research and practitioner resources available to explore. We welcome genuine questions about what the evidence supports, its limitations and where phototherapy may responsibly sit alongside established care. We’re not going to Sydney simply to sell—we’re going to start conversations. Are you attending the Vet Expo? Come and meet us, explore the research and ask us the questions that matter to you.

Walk your horse away and back on a safe, level surface and simply observe. Look at rhythm, willingness, stride length and symmetry. You’re not trying to diagnose anything—you’re creating a consistent habit of watching how your horse moves over time. IceWave patches can be used as part of a broader comfort-support routine, but observation remains one of your most valuable tools.

Save this as your weekly movement check, and explore our horse-owner resources to learn more about IceWave placement and everyday support.

Why is Pinto’s Patches heading to the Sydney Vet Expo?
Because we want to be part of the conversation.
On 9–10 September, we'll be meeting veterinarians, veterinary nurses and animal-care professionals to talk about LifeWave IceWave phototherapy, the available research and where complementary technologies may responsibly fit alongside established equine and veterinary care. We're going to listen, learn, answer questions and share the resources we've developed. And we'll take you behind the scenes along the way.

Follow our journey to Sydney—and tell us below: if you could ask us one question about IceWave or phototherapy, what would it be?
