After 10 years, it’s time to close the doors of Jen’s Grooming.

This is a much harder post to write than I expected.

For the past decade, I’ve had the privilege of caring for so many beautiful dogs and getting to know the wonderful people who love them. I’ve watched puppies grow up, welcomed familiar faces through the door year after year, shared countless conversations, laughs and stories, and built a little business that became a very big part of my life.

I recently sold my grooming container, and it happened much faster than I expected, which means this chapter is ending sooner than I had imagined.

To everyone who trusted me with their dogs, supported my business, recommended me to others, and simply kept coming back — thank you. Truly.

Jen’s Grooming has been part of my life for 10 years, and saying goodbye to it is emotional. But sometimes one chapter has to close before the next one can begin.

Thank you for being part of the journey. I’ll never forget it. 🐾❤️

A polite reminder regarding grooming appointments

Please arrive on time for your scheduled appointment. I understand that unexpected delays can happen, but I ask that you contact me as soon as possible if you are running late or unable to attend.

My appointments are carefully scheduled throughout the day, and arriving significantly late affects every customer booked after you. During the colder months, I heat the grooming room well before each appointment to ensure your dog stays warm and comfortable after bathing. Late arrivals and missed appointments therefore result in wasted preparation time and additional heating costs.

Going forward, appointments may be cancelled if you arrive more than 10 minutes late without prior notice. Customers who do not attend and fail to contact me may also be required to pay a booking deposit before making another appointment.

Thank you for respecting my time, my other customers and the care I put into preparing for your dog’s appointment.
